chapter 1 Leaving

Gobber- you did it hiccup you get to kill the dragon.

Stoick-that's my boy!!

Hiccup- yep I am so....(flash forward to the cove )

leaving yep were leaving bud let's pack up we are going on a vacation.....forever.

Toothless came bouncing over and sniff's the basket's hiccup brought with him he has his sketch pads, clothes, food, metal, leather etc. Toothless got the idea and gave him a gummy smile. hiccup then strapped the baskets to toothless's saddle. hiccup - I hope that's not to heavy for you there bud. that all looks ok he says as finishing up trying up the basket to the saddle. hiccup - ok that's it you ready to go bud toothless wobbles in response. hiccup takes one look around. am gonna miss this place he whispers hiccup signs then looks at toothless. hiccup smiles hiccup then saddles toothless and then flys away hiccup then looks back taking one last look at berk and whispers bye berk.....bye gobber...... bye Astrid I think I will miss you the most if only i could have told you the truth to your face that is my only regret besides leaving you behind. (flash-back a few hours before.) hiccup is pacing around his room hiccup- it's the only way if I don't even wanna think about what would happen. Walks to his desk he then writes three notes then founded them up then writes on them chef, gobber, Astrid then he packs up the important things he's gonna need from his room then he goes to the forge and packs up his sketch pads, leather and metal then goes to the woods and puts his baskets in a bush but takes out the three notes and puts them in his pocket. Then he runs back to the village then he goes to his old house and puts his note for the chef on his pillow then he runs to the forge and puts note two on a desk then runs to his best-friends house and puts note three on her table next to her bed and then goes back to the Forrest and picks up the baskets and starts walking to the cove. End of flash back.

Stoicks P.O.V
I was walking back home after having a few in the mead hall celebrating hiccup getting to kill his first dragon. Stoick yells- hiccup!!!! No answer i then goes up stairs and opens hiccups door and sees a note on hiccups bed he goes over to it and sits down on hiccups bed and opens the letter up and starts to read (Dear Chef am sorry I am such a disappointment to you I know am just a hiccup I wish I can be the Viking you want me to be but am sick of pretending to be someone am not.
As you are reading this I want you to know I am long gone I have left Berk have fun trying to find me. I know you won't try I know you don't care gods the only people how do care are gobber and Astrid they are the only ones who did not bully me. I know you have to pick and heir for berk and I would pick Astrid she smart and strong. From hiccup the useless.)
Stoick sat there in shock tears in his eyes knowing he had to find his son but i could not move he was gone and it was his fault he thought he felt guilty.

Gobbers P.O.V
I was looking around the forge  but then something caught his eye it was a note I then i walked up to it then picked it up and sat down and opened it up and read (Dear Gobber I just want to say thank you for everything you have down for me. I know I haven't always been the easiest of people to deal with at times but you never gave up on me. Am sorry to not have to tell you this face to face but I have left berk I just couldn't take it anymore faking be someone am not it hurts way to much an when the other found out I don't even what to know what they would do. There is something you could do for me if you wanted could you maybe look out for Astrid i know me leavings going to effect her. I know she can look after herself but it's peace of mine you know from hiccup.)
Gobber sat there in frozen but vowed to look after Astrid like he was asked to do.
Astrid P.O.V
I was walking home after sitting by a cliff all day trying to figure out how to tell hiccup the truth when I get home I go straight to my room put my axe down then sit on my bed then I notice a note on my table i picked it up and started to read (Dear Astrid
Am sorry this is a little scruffy I need to hurry in case Someone catches me but I put this note some where I know you would find it I wanted to say thanks for sticking up for me for being my friend even thou am useless. I can't keep pretending to be some one am not it's to painful am not a dragon killer and I never will. Am sorry I can't tell you what am telling you to your face I've left berk I can't keep pretending to be someone am not and I just can't take the others anymore the name calling the beatings you can't be around me 24/7. I just can't regret not telling you am in love with you to your face I know you will never look at me like that am just a talking fishbone. I think am gonna miss you the most. I don't even know if am gonna see you again from

Astrid sat there in shock she had tears streaming down her face but she promised herself that she would find hiccup she would not stop looking even if it killed her she now knew he felt the same way as her she she's not gonna let that go.
