Hate

I tried my best,

But you put everything I did to the test

How could I do well,

When all you did was dwell.

If it wasn't for you,

I would have reached my full potential

That's impossible without keeping things confidential,

You told me things would get better

Did they? No, not even when writing myself a letter.

I wish I never met you,

But you wish you had 

Too bad,

'Cause I hate you.

I did all I could,

You didn't even praise me

Not even when I was always good,

So bright for all to see
