I asked God if he could give me a shooting star,
But He gave me a song.
I asked God if he could give me a flower,
And He gave me a rose.
I asked God if I can have someone to love,
And He gave me more than what I asked for.
I asked God if we could be together,
He answered, “Yes, my child for you will spend
perpetuity with each other.”
I said, “Thank you God for giving something
that could last until eternity and
can go beyond infinity.”
