Your the toxin I choose repeatedly
the danger I refuse to see.
A nightmare I never want to end
much like the pain from a back-stabbing friend.
A master of lies, cheat, and disguise;
yet it's you i miss.
Here in your arms I lie within a deadly charm
within your eyes I slowly drown from crashing waves
leading to my black day.
Nothing I hoped for; yet all I yearn,
a mistake never learned, trust never earned.
One whom pain intrigues, always deceiving.
I am a prisoner to your barren heart
naive to the storm that brews through your demise.
Now here i sit alone in solitude's room
left to question was this meant to be
or a love sick fantasy?
