Chapter 39

29th November 2017

'Hey, I'm home,' I called out, shutting the front door behind me

'Hi honey,' my mum says, coming out the front room, I run up to her and give her a hug

'When did you get home?' I ask

'At about two, David got here about 15 minutes ago,' she replies, leading me into the front room, 'I will back in an hour or two, your dad is coming home early as well so I have to pick him up from the airport and I'm going to get chipotle, do you guys want anything?' she says while getting her bag and pulling her coat on as I sit on the couch, next to David

'No thanks, I got Mcdonalds,' I reply as she turns and leaves. As soon as I hear the front door shut David grabs my waist and pulls me onto his lap so that I'm facing him

'So, how was shopping?' He asks

'It was fine, we managed to spend 300 dollars between us,' I reply and he laughs

'Should I be shocked?' He says

'No, it's the usual amount we spent in two months,' I reply

'And where do you get the money from?' He asks smiling because he already knows the answer

'Youtube, but I can tell you already knew that,'

'So, I guess since your a big youtube star now we have to celebrate,'

'How?'

'Like this,' he replies, he removes one of his hands from my waist and places it back down on my neck, pushing me forwards until my lips are on his. We must have made out for an hour because Gabbie comes in screaming my name so David and I have to stop

'LIZA!' She shouts

'What Gabbie?' I ask sinking and resting my head on David's chest

'Do you know where my purse is, it has quite a lot of money in it,' she asks going down my top shop bag

'No, I haven't seen it, we'll help you look though,' I say getting off David as Zane also walks in

'You didn't leave it at McDonald's, did you?' David asks her

'David, if I knew that I wouldn't be looking for it,' Gabbie said to him and I laughed. After another ten minutes of looking for it Zane and David give up

'Liza, where's your bag?' She asks

'It's over there,' I reply pointing to a corner while still digging through another bag

'Oooh, hello, what are these for?' Gabbie asks, holding up a box of condoms

'David and I are going to do the condom challenge,' I reply laughing

'Are we?' He asks looking really puzzled

'Yes, we are,' I say

'Thank god, I found it, it's all okay,' Gabbie says, waving her purse around

'Hey, we're home,' my dad calls from the front door

'And we got you chipotle anyway because we know that you will want to eat ours otherwise,' my mum adds. They walk into the front room and smile as they see Gabbie and Zane

'Hey guys, I haven't seen you in so long, how are you?' My mum asks them

'We're fine thanks,' Zane answers, getting up and giving her a hug

'I really wish we could stay and talk but we need to get home, I only came over to find my purse,' Gabbie says. After they leave and we eat and my parents go upstairs David and I are finally alone again

'So, what do you want to do?' He asks me sitting down on the sofa and holding out his arms

'I want to watch a film and then go to sleep,' I reply falling onto the couch, into his arms.

The film just ended and of course, Liza has fallen asleep but, because I love her, I pick her up and carry her upstairs. I place her on the bed, somehow I manage to get her out of her day clothes and into my shirt without waking her, which is a miracle, before falling asleep next to her.
