Ava
My mother was very religious. She believed the body is scared, and should remain pure until marriage. She believed to bring a child into the world, you must do it with the person you love. Unfortunately, she never got to experience this.

"Happy birthday!" Alana said as she ran into the room with a cake.
"Thanks" I said hoping she wouldn't notice how sick I felt.
"Whats wrong?" She asked frowning.
"Nothing"
"Come on, I'm your best friend. I know when somethings wrong with you"
"I just don't feel well" I replied attempting to stand up.
The room started to spin. I could feel myself starting to fall. Luckily Alana moved to catch me.
"Come on" She said leading me to the door. "We're going to the doctor."

I sat in a white room, on the examine table. The paper was starting to rip where my legs hung. There were medical posters on the walls. In the corner sat a sink with a brown cabinet hanging over it. Next to the examine table, Alana sat in a blue chair.
"Well the good news is your not sick But..." The doctor informed us.
"But, what?" I asked nervously.
"But, you seem to be pregnant"
"Pregnant? That's impossible, I'm a virgin"
"Right, well I will send the nurse in to give you a ultra sound so you can see for your self." He said before leaving.
I looked over to Alana who was as shocked as I was.
Five minutes later a nurse walked in.
"This may be cold, Hun" She said before putting a cold gel on my stomach.
"There she is!" She said pointing to the screen.
Sure enough. You had to strain your eyes to see it bur there was a baby.
I leaned back shocked.
Suddenly we hear a scream coming from the room beside ours. Everyone went to see what was happening.
As we walk into the room I see a woman with long, light brown hair. Her eyes were brown, and full of tears.
"I'm a virgin! That's not possible she screamed."
Everyone slowly started to file out of the room. Leaving just me and her. I cautiously moved to sit by her. She look up at me surprised.
"I'm Natalie"
"Gwen"
"They don't believe me either" I sigh.

One year later-Natalie
I was playing with my beautiful, cheerful little girl when the phone rang.
"I'll be right back Ava" I told her smiling. She looked up and giggled. I stood up and walked over to the phone.
"Hello"
"Natalie! There are three men in my house!" I heard Gwen scream.
"Call 911!"
"They have... They have black eyes" she explained shakily.
"Hold on Gwen! I'll be right there"
I ran outside to the neighbour and told them to watch Ava, giving them no explanation.
When I got to Gwen's house the door was kicked down. I rushed inside. I saw things knocked down and broken. The place was a mess. Then I saw her. Laying in the middle of the floor with a pool of dark red blood around her. Gwen. Dead. Tears filled my eyes as I walked over to her. I bent down to close her heavy eyes.
I looked up to see something written in blood on the wall. Natalie Jackson.
Then I heard it. The cry of her child. Farren. The poor thing saw it all. I slowly stood and walked over to the crib. I scooped her into my arms and walked out. Forever. Not looking back once.

14 years later-Ava
It's my fifteenth birthday, and I'm sitting at home, ALONE. I thought to my self. It was also Farren's fifteenth birthday. But she was out with her friends, like always. After the thing with her mother, my mom took Farren in. Even though we weren't blood she was my sister. Alana always used to say family is thicker than blood. I'm pretty sure she got that from that old dude she hangs out with.
Then a loud bang snapped me back to reality. Then I heard screaming. Worried, I rushed out to find three men standing over my half dead mother.
"Mom!" I screamed.
The men turned to look at me. One of the men came over to me. After me kicking and screaming the man finally restrained me. One of the men smiled. His smile was dark, evil, and scary as hell. He then turned to my mother. He raised his arms and plunged a knife into my mothers chest.
I felt my eyes start to sting and my blood start to burn. That son of a bitch! I thought to my self. With one small push the man who was once holding me back, went flying into the wall. Then black smoke came pouring out of him. I turned to the other men. One of them came rushing towards me. I simply touched him and he went flying and slammed against the wall. The smoke then came out of him. I raised my hand and the last man slowly lifted into the air.
"Are you the ones who killed Gwen?" I demanded.
"Yes" He smirked "and we sure did get payed well for it."
"Who sent you!?" I demanded
He smiled and then smoke started to pile out of him. I threw him against the wall and walked over to my mother. I saw the necklace she always wore. I took it off of her and put it on. I then stood up and looked into the cracked mirror on the wall. My eyes. My eyes were black.
Then like a storm all the grief hit me. I feel to my knees and began to sob. I heard Farren rush in. Then I felt her lift me to my feet and drag me out.
"We are gonna get through this" she told me with tears running down her face.
"I know, Fae. It just hurts like hell"
"We are gonna go Alana's and stay there for a while, OK?" She asked.
I nodded my head and walked over to my mothers car. I started it up, and drove off with Fae in the passenger seat sobbing.
