What? When had anyone known what to do to help me? I want to just stop and ask him why he said that, but I couldn't in front of such a crowd. So instead I run into the next ally I see, and reappear. He dashes by before backing up into the ally. He was panting, but no where nearly as bad as myself. I've never been fit, and that was the fastest I've run in while.
"Finally... What's your name? I... I'm Fitz." Fitz panted.
"What do you mean, 'I can help'?" I whispered. My mind was going wild. This boy looked no different than me or my family. In fact he barely looked different than any other person, but he was pretty cute.
"Well, hello anyway. And I do know how to help. Just I doubt it's the way you think." He said. Fitz looked at me, and it wasn't a lying look, just a honestly surprised. I could at least tell him my name.
"My name is Alla. And all I want is to be normal," I told him. He gave me an amused look.
"I know someone who was a lot like you, and said something real close to that, the day I meet them too. I wonder if you're... Heh... We'll figure that out later. For now we should go." He reached out his hand towards me. I feel a smile itch at my face, but I wasn't ready.
I look at him a question on my tongue. "I have a home. And a family. Shouldn't ask them?" I looked at him. He looked sympathetic, but not understanding. Like he watched happen before but, did not have it happen to him.
"How bout we come back after? Give you time to decide what to do. That'll be good right?" He asks. I nod.
"Where are we going?"
"A wonderful place. A place where you will fit in." I don't what did it, but that made me laugh.
"Cool! Take me to wonderland, Fitz."
