So, when I was 4, my mom died. She and my step-dad had been happily married for 11 years. He married mom after my dad, Carmichael, died in Afghanistan. I hate my step-dad. He hates me. We both love mom. That's how this family worked.
Sammy, my step-dad, loved mom and hated me. Well, he loved torturing me when mom wasn't around. Does that count as love? Anyway, mom died of a heart attack and Sammy blames me. He beats me saying that I'm a demon. A little she-demon. It really wears on a person. Four years I lived in constant pain. Fearful of when he would get home. So, this is How the scene folded out..." Allanna!" Sammy shouted making her flinch. " Get in here, Demon!"
" I'm fine, I'm not a demon, I didn't kill mom?" she mumbled with a wild yet confused look in her eyes.
Allanna, a 12 year old female, lived with this monster. It drove her to insanity. Little voices talked inside her head. They told her to make a deadly weapon; they told her to kill.
She made a curved, golden blade. A huge silver pole leading from the blade served as her handle. She had made a scythe.
"I'm coming!" Allanna responded giggling at what she planned to do. She walked down the dark hallway to the tiny kitchen where Sammy would be getting his belt ready.
She walks in, the floorboards creaking under her feet. " Be a good demon and get your whipping!" Sammy barks at her as he turns around.
He drops the leather belt he had started to wrap around his hand. There was Allanna, blond hair in a golden ponytail. One strand hanging in her face. She was wearing a deep blue ratty tank top. Her shorts were torn and and a little too small. She looked insane, but was beautiful, like her mom.
"I'm a demon?" She said uncertaintly, " Why do you hurt me? Oh... You are a bad guy!" She finished with a little glint in her eyes.
She hooked the scythe behind his neck and pulled.
Thump. Who knew it could end that fast?
Allanna smiled and pranced up to her room. She grabbed her long silver bow she had just recently finished. She threw her quiver on her shoulder and rounded up her arrows.
Allanna walked out the front door with no burdens to hold her back.
Her mind was broken.
