"Nicole. Nicole." Nicole opened her eyes slowly to see Sam looking down at her, smiling. She smiled back at him.
"What's going on?" She asked groggily, rubbing her head.
"You fell asleep," he said, laughing. "You were sleep talking too. What was it she said again, Dean?"
"Something along the lines of how incredibly good looking we were," he replied, chuckling. Nicole blushed.
"Shut up," she laughed, pulling the blanket off of her.
"Oh my god, are we in Antarctica?" she complained, bristling at the winter air. "It's freezing!"
"Yeah, tell me about it," Dean said gruffly. "Not all of us could be all snuggled together with a blanket for an hour." Sam and Nicole both blushed and looked at each other.
"Let's just go check in," Sam said, breaking the awkward silence. Nicole and Dean nodded in agreement. The bell rang as they opened the door to the cheap motel, alerting the owner that he had customers. The paint was peeling off the walls and the front desk was covered in an assortment of beer bottles. Nicole grimaced and looked at Dean, who made a face. Sam smiled briefly at him.
"What can I do for you?" The owner slurred, chugging some more beer.
"Uh, one room please. Two beds and a sleeper sofa." The man shook his head.
"No can do, giganto." Sam narrowed his eyes.
"I'm sorry?" He asked.
"We're all booked up. Only got a room with two beds, no sleeper sofa." Dean looked at Nicole quickly and grinned.
"You know what, that's okay. Thanks." The man nodded and handed over the room keys while Sam gave him one of their many credit cards gotten through scams. Nicole crossed her arms and looked at Dean.
"This isn't okay," she pointed out. Dean raised an eyebrow.
"What are you talking about?"
"I always sleep on the sleeper sofa. Where am I supposed to sleep? On the floor?" Sam walked over to them.
"What's wrong?" He asked, noting Nicole's distress.
"Where the hell am I supposed to sleep?!" She shouted. Sam half smiled at Dean.
"Pick."
"I'm sorry, what?" She sneered between clenched teeth.
"Which of one us is the lucky guy?" Dean asked.
"Oh hell no.” She sighed and bit her lip, thinking. Those freaking perves want me to sleep with them. But I mean, hey, I can always shoot their sorry asses.
"Ugh, fine. Rock paper scissor it," she said reluctantly. Sam looked surprised at her method of choosing, but he went with it.
"Okay." He turned to face Dean and cracked his knuckles.
“You prepared to loose, Dean?” He challenged.
"You're going down, Sammy,” Dean retorted.
"You guys are dweebs," Nicole chuckled.
"Rock paper scissor SHOOT!" They shouted simultaneously. Dean laughed.
“Ha! Yes, I won!” He declared, pumping his fist in the air.
"Dang it," Sam complained, looking down. Dean turned around and put his arm around Nicole's shoulders, but she shrugged him off.
"Awe, c'mon!" He complained, as she walked faster ahead of them, pushing open the lobby door.
"Dude, I think she's pissed," Sam commented.
"No, really?! At least I won, though," he said, laughing at his victory.
"Wait a minute, you like her too?" Sam asked.
"What? Of course, you know, she's a great hunter."
"No Dean, you know what I mean," Sam sighed.
"Maybe. But wait, you said too. You like Nicole?"
"Maybe," Sam replied quickly. Dean grunted.
"Well, may the best man win." Sam crossed his arms.
"Fine." They glared at each other for a moment before speeding up to catch Nicole.
