All these heavy thoughts will try to weigh you down but not this time

"Go to bed school's tomorrow" his dad snaps. He turns his lamp off. He knows by 22:10 his father will be asleep. He goes on his phone. He usually goes to bed at an ok time like 22:45 but he doesn't want to wake up. He just wants to disappear. But he can't. His mum can turn invisible but that's about as close as Phil can get to disappearing. He doesn't want to go to school. He doesn't want to start packing lunch and making sure his alarm is set on his phone. He doesn't want to worry about exams. But most of all he doesn't want to go to high school. His friends' powers have nothing to do with flying so Phil is certain he won't be in classes with them not even lunch! In high school lunch is at different times. Either fourth, fifth, sixth or seventh period. But any grade can have any period of lunch. Unlike middle school. High school is ten times harder because now they have exams. In middle school they had trials. Basically to make sure you were not going to start flying away at any second (in Phil's case) or starting a random fire and etc. Now they actually learn about school subjects. Phil's middle school combines with another middle school making high school have a lot more people and more grades. He hates high school and he isn't even there yet. The worst thing about powers is that no one has the same power. Maybe similar but never the same. So no one relates to their friend when they complain about their power. Phil sometimes wishes he could be normal but then he would have to go to the school of normal and thats based off of whatever they do in middle school and high school. He didn't learn any of that so he would fail. Also they would know he isn't a normal. They can tell.
