The Realist

Some people accept reality better than others. They don't bend it to their will or choose only to see the best parts of it. They don't linger on the worst parts of it either. They just accept it with a simplicity that can almost be mistaken for apathy. They refuse to form opinions on it because what's the point in wasting time thinking on something that isn't the case? They give meaning to the phrase "Live in the moment" and live their lives by it. They recognize the real possibility that their lives may be lost in the sands of time and any impressions it made whisked away as the people they effected move on and forget. They are almost like ghosts and don't interact with others as much. They are the ones who are perfectly content to remain in the shadows content to live life in peace doing what they love. If you do have the fortune of talking to one they are remarkably quirky and bury their insights below jokes. They tell the truth but in a way that makes you realize how long it's been since someone didn't take care to mold their words to your expectations. It's refreshing in a way that takes you by surprise. They have an amazing sense of perspective and don't worry too much about things that won't effect them later in life. Once more it must be cautioned to not mistake this for apathy, they care about others and what happens to them (although they likely won't admit it) but they won't be broken hearted by the little things. They use their sense of truth to help other's find their's and are slow to mold their reality to preference of others. This quiet acceptance allows others to accept their own reality.
