~Tyler's POV~

I can't believe I got to see Skylar again.

It had been so long since I had seen her. 3 years to be exact. It started way back in high school. A year before I moved away and became a Youtuber and left her behind.

~Flashback~

I was walking around in the park. I went to go sit on a bench to wait for the school bus. Behind me was a wall of corridors and different doors. It was the middle of winter and the wind outside was brutal.

I stuck my hands in my pocket and went to sit in one of the doorways. The wind wasn't as bad here. It was actually kinda warm.

I pulled my phone out and started playing Mr. Crab with the volume completely down. Then I heard something. I froze and put my phone in my pocket and listened intently.

*Crying*

"Hello?" I stood up and looked around curious as to see who was crying.

*The crying stops and everything goes silent.*

"Hey come out please. I know someone's there." I tried to talk quietly so I didn't disturb whoever it was. That would just be my luck.

I heard shuffling and then a girl, who looked a year older than me, came into view. She looked familiar, but I don't know where I had seen her from.

"Hey. Are you ok?" I asked coming over to her and sitting next to her. She tensed and then leaned on my shoulder. I was a little embarrassed but I didn't mind. This girl obviously needed my help.

She shook her head and started crying again. I was really concerned for her, but I didn't know how to comfort her.

"Can you tell me what's wrong?" She was quiet for a minute then sighed.

"It's about my friend. She... D.. Died last night. In a car crash. Her and her parents slipped on lose gravel and ice and they flipped. Their bodies weren't found yet so they think they were drug away by animals." She leaned into my shoulder and started crying again. This time much harder.

I reached my arm and resting it around her awkwardly. She froze in surprise and I quickly pulled it off.

"Sorry I just don't know how else to comfort you." I smiled nervously. Worried that she would take it offensive.

"No it's ok. Thank you for trying." She smiled a tiny smile and then went back to frowning. I noticed that she didn't have a coat on or anything.

"Oh my god. You must be freezing!" I took off my big winter coat and gave it to her.

She looked at me hesitantly for a moment and tried to give it back. I shook my head and moved out of her reach. She sighed and slowly put it on.

"What about you? You'll freeze?" She sounded genuinely worried for me. I smiled at her and pointed to my bag.

"Extra coat. I'll let you have the warmer one. You've been out here longer." She smiled slightly. It warmed my heart. I'm glad I could make someone smile and not always screw everything up like I always do.

"How long have you been out here?" I pushed myself farther into the back of the doorway, away from all the cold.

"All night. After my parents told me about her I ran away. I was about to kill myself to be with her. But thankfully you stopped me before I did to much damage to myself." I stared at her awed. She hurt herself? And she's been here all night?
