Allisidy hunkered down, and squeezed her eyes shut.
"No need to be frightened Allisidy. I won't hurt you darling." A kind voice said, as the voices owner pushed aside the clothing concealing her.
Allisidy opened one eye, then the other, taking in the woman that stood before her. She stood about 5'4", her hair was a faded blond and fell just to her shoulders, in messy layers, that made her appear younger. There was something familiar about her. But she couldn't put her finger on it.
"H-how do you know my name?" She asked still not coming out from her hiding spot.
"I've known you since the day you were born child. You can come out, I wont harm you." She said offering her hand. Tentatively, Allisidy accepted the help up.
"Marnaluma?" Allisidy said, more of a question than a statement. A smile played at the corners of the older woman's lips.
"That is correct dear." She said.
"But how." The niggling came back in her brain stronger than ever. 'how do I know her name.
Why is this all familiar? How did I get here. There where so many directions, wrong ways I could've turned but I got here. Just like I wanted to. A myriad of thoughts swirled through her mind. Gosh ever since since these dreams started my life's turned upside down! She froze her pacing as realization dawned her face.
"The dreams... I-I've been here in my dreams." She said barely over a whisper. But the niggling feeling persisted.
"Ahh," the woman smiled, "but they aren't dreams darling, they're memories."
