I'm back

Chapter 17

Mason's pov.

I looked at my clock on my nightstand to see it was 2:30 am. I can't sleep I just feel so bad about blowing up on Zoe I don't even know why I said I wish she loved me like I love her. I mean I do wish that but she still needs time, as for the Ashley writing on her locker thing...I believe I have a right for that.

My phone started ringing snapping me out of my thoughts, I looked down at my phone to see Zoe's house was calling. I quickly picked it up and put it to my ear.

"Hello?" I answered

"Hey Mason" Zoe's dad said happily on the other line.

"Hey whats up?" I asked a little disappointed that it's not Zoe.

"I just wanted to say goodnight to Zoe but she's not answering her phone so I decided to call you because she's at your house"

"Um...Zoe's not here"

"But she just said 30 minutes ago that she's there hanging out with you" He said sounding confused.

"I'm sorry Sir but she's not here...could she be at Summer's?" 

"Summer's here at our house"

"Oh...really?" I asked getting nervous.

"Yeah...hey wait can you hold that thought Zoe is calling from the other line"

"Sure"

The line was silent for a second before I heard Zoe's dad's voice again.

"Mason are you still there?" He asked sounding panicked.

"Yeah I'm still here"

"Quickly get to the hospital"

"Why?" I asked confused.

"Zoe was in a huge car crash"

I sprung off of my bed panicked.

"I'm on my way" I said before hanging up.

I ran down stairs to my parents bedroom and woke them up.

"What is it son?" My dad asked sleepily.

"Zoe's been in a car crash!"

"Oh my god is she alright?" Mom asked

"I don't know I'm going to the hospital are you coming with?"

"Of course let's go" Dad said

Mom nodded and they both quickly got out of their bed, we all ran out of the house and into my car. I started my car and my parents hopped into the back, I sped off to the hospital.

Once we got to the hospital we all ran out of the car and into the entrance, when we reached the Secretary we stopped running.

"May I he-" Before she could finish her sentence I cut her off.

"Where is Zoe Adam's?" I asked panicked.

She typed into her computer then looked up at me.

"She's in operation" 

I nodded and started running to the elevators with my parents trailing behind me. I pushed the button over and over again until the elevator opened. We all got in and I pressed 4th floor, and the doors closed. Once we got to the floor we quickly walked to the operation center to see Zoe's parents and Summer nervously passing back and forth.

We quickly walked up to them with worried expressions, when they saw us they ran up to us looking scared.

"Is she okay?" I asked still worried.
