Chapter 21

Zoe's pov.

2 days later

"But I don't wanna go!" I yelled childishly at Mason while stomping my non broken foot.

"Angel Eyes you have to go to school...and besides we only got two more months of it until graduation" Mason said shrugging.

"Ugh I guess you're right" I mumbled.

"Thank you now let me have your keys"

"Why would I give you my keys to my car?" I asked sassily.

"Because you have a broken foot and I'm not gonna let you drive like that so give me the keys"

"Fine here" I huffed handing him the keys.

"Thank you" He mumbled before walking out of the house.

In case you're wondering how I have a car after it got completely smashed. It's because Haze got it fixed after the accident and he also painted it white this time which is cool.

I grabbed my crutches off the wall before adjusting myself, then I left the house and started limping over to the passenger side of my car. That by the way Mason was holding open for me.

"Thanks Baby...can you put these in the trunk?" I asked handing him my crunches.

He nodded before helping me into the car and closing the door. He quickly put my crutches in the trunk of my car before he hopped into the drivers side.

He roared the engine to life before speeding out of the driveway.

"Alright you stay in the car while I go get your crutches okay?" Mason asked once he parked in the school parking lot.

I nodded and huffed.

He got out of the car and jogged to the trunk of my car. I heard the trunk door slam closed and then before I knew it Mason was opening the door for me.

He put the crutches down so they were resting on the car. Then he grabbed my hand and helped pull me out of the car.

Once I got out I heard a bunch of loud whispers, so I turned my head to see pretty much the whole school looking at me with big eyes.

"WHAT? YOU GUYS NEVER SEEN A GIRL WITH A BROKEN LEG BEFORE??!!" I shouted at them

Most of them scurried away but a few stayed behind, such as Ashley. I ignored looking at her, so I turned my head to see Mason looking down at me with a worried expression.

"What?" I asked confused.

"You okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine I just don't like people looking at me"

"Ah" He said handing me my crutches.

I put the crutches under my arms before I started my journey to the front doors. Before I got there I heard an annoying familiar squeaky voice.

"I guess you took my advice" I heard Ashley say.

I stopped and looked at Mason he rolled his eyes and pointed at Ashley. I nodded and rested against him so that way I could rest my foot that's not broken.

"What advice?" I huffed

"You know the advice that I wrote on your locker" She said crossing her arms.

"Oh you mean the killing myself thing?"

She nodded making Mason stiffen behind me.

"I'm sorry Ashley I didn't take your advice" I said shrugging.
