The darkness

I was out with my friend Sam in the woods, We had a few beers, We were there for quite a while so we were planning on heading back. I heard some strange noises but i thought it was just an animal, Then i saw a dark figure standing in the darkness staring right at me, i started to shake my breathing getting heavier and heavier "Adam are you ok?"Asked Sam i turned to him "Yea i'm ok" Then i looked back into the darkness where the mysterious figure stood. i stood up in shock it was gone! "Sam lets go home now!" I said looking him straight in the eye trying not to look scared Sam and i jumped in the car we were driving for about 15 minutes not saying a word suddenly Sam slammed on the breaks "What the hell?" i screamed Sam went pale he pointed out into the darkness My eyes went wide it started walking towards us, Sam and i frozen in our spots then suddenly everything went black a month later i woke up in a hospital bed i sat up screaming "Its gonna get me, its gonna get me" over and over again uncontrollably a nurse ran in "Sir its going to be ok" Said the nurse She tried to calm me but i kept screaming "its gonna get me!" she tried to hold me down but i fought back uncontrollably scratching at her face she called for help, I ran out the room just to have two policemen stopping me "Son your coming with us" said one policemen "No im not!!" i lunged myself at the officers not able to control myself before i knew it i was held down and handcuffed i started screaming "Where is he" the officers looked at each other confused "Who are you looking for?" i looked down "My friend Sam... Sam smith" "oh he left about a week ago" i sighed in relief " a few hours later i was finally let out of hospital i ran to Sams house to find he was hanging from the ceiling dripping in blood with a sign around his neck i'm coming for you! i stumbled back in fear and shock my eyes filling up with tears "No!!" i screamed i called the police and ran from the scene crying and stumbling, That night i pledged on my life i will track that demon down and slay it.
