"Mademoiselle Dakota? Mademoiselle Everlynn? It's time for breakfast."

Dakota sat up in a heavy daze, "Huh?"

"It's time to eat, darling!" Her chipper voice snapped me out of my haze. Lilith? That's her name, I think.

"Mrs. Lilith?"

"Yes, Mademoiselle Dakota?"

"Where's the dining room?"

"Follow me, mademoiselle."

She led me to a beautiful room. Golden trim all around the hall.  It was absolutely stunning! The walls were a dark red; The color of crimson liquid I saw Jay and Kodiak sitting down at the marble table.  It could fit twelve people, at most. I could sense someone else in the room.

"Who's that?" Dakota finally said. It felt weird having someone watch her. She could feel their eyes on her.

"Who?" Kodiak put into words. He cocked his head to the side. He was very. very cynical of me being Jay's mate. I could tell.

"Never mind. I guess I'm seeing things." Dakota trailed off.

"Freak!" Kodiak stood up, picked his chair up, and slammed it against the wall, where she was standing. She screamed and ducked. It hit her, she fell to her knees. She gulped for air. Jay rushed to Dakota's side and nudged her.

"Please, wake up, please. mon amour, I need you."

She fell into a deep slumber.

She woke up in a fancy house. It was very different from the Cullen estate.  The decor gave it away. Gold and silver finishes. Dakota hopped up from the bed she was laid out on. She didn't want to because it was very soft, warm, and inviting. Like Jay's arms, She thought. She smiled, the sooner she finds Jay, the sooner she can be happy. She wants him. No, she needs him. He'll protect her. He'll love her. He'll be happy with her. And they'll have pups together and live in a nice, cozy home. With each other.

She opened the door to find a long corridor.

"Miss? You're awake?" The women dressed as a maid asked Dakota. She managed to sneak up on her.

"Yes, ma'am. Can you tell me where Jay is?"

"Do you not know?"

"I just woke up.... What happened?"

"He started going to Magix. He's in his study as of the moment. Do you wish me to take you there?"

Dakota nodded, "Yes, please."

The maid led Dakota to the swirling staircase.

"What's your name, miss?" Dakota had asked, mid-way through to stairs leading up to the attic.

"Maids don't have names."  She replied. Dakota cocked my head to the side wondering what she meant.   The maid led her to an attic. There you go, she said.

Dakota knocked, once, twice. And it opened to reveal a wild Jay doing homework.

"What do you want?" He asked then turned around in his rolly chair, "Dakota?"

I smiled as I nodded.  He hopped up from the chair and hugged me.

He had gotten me into Magix Academy. And that's when all hell broke lose.
