"What is y'all's name?" Jay and I had been asked when we first arrived.

"Jay, and this my lovely wife, Dakota!"

"Wife?" The guy had asked.

"We have been married for a few months," I muttered.  The last few months have been great for us. We even went to Paris for our honeymoon.

"Oh well,  Never the less, you two are students. And I shall be your homeroom teacher." The older guy said,  "Let's go to the cafe and meet up with everyone else."

We both nodded and followed him. "I'm Sir Allen Cobelee."

The rest of the walk was silent. Jay wrapped his hand around mine and gave it a tight squeeze. I smiled. Then he started squeezing it too tight. He didn't let go until I yelped.

Once we arrived we saw a bunch of kids. I didn't know most of 'em. But Jay waved to two boys. They slowly walked towards us.

"Grayson Mathewes and Tristen Marrok! Great to see you, boys!" Jay smiled.

"Who's that?" The kid with tinted glasses asked.

"Grayson, this is my beautiful wife, Dakota."

"Pleasure to meet friends of Jay's." I halt.

"Oh no, darlin', we ain't his friends. We're in his pack." Tristen spoke.

"I'm not! And Tristen, it's not proper to use 'ain't'" Grayson spat.

Tristen rolled his eyes, "Yeah..OK."

"Is that the Demise?" Asked Jay.

Tristen and Grayson nodded.

Jay pushed through the crowd of people. I followed him and so did the others.

"You bitch!" Jay yelled at the redhead. The redhead must be the Demise.

"Woah... Who the hell are you?"

"Jay Cullens."

"Mmmh. And why should I care?"

He smiled a vicious smile. The girl with pale white and black hair whispered something in the redhead's ear.

"Jay, what's going on?" I had to ask as a herd of Magii surrounded us.

"This is the daughter of The Demise. She's a witch/vampire hybrid. She needs to be destroyed like her murderous father!"  Jay launched himself towards Demise. Then he came to an abrupt stop when she flicked her hand. Golden sparks created a barrier around the redhead.

"Raychel!" The other girl yelled.

"Yes?" Raychel said stoically like she didn't hurt my Jay.

I ran over towards Jay and asked, "You OK? Love? Can you hear me?"  Jay fell on his knees and started gasping for breath.

"Ah, you must understand." She said and left with the other girl giving us an apologetic look.

"Jay?"

"Yeah?"

"You OK?"

He nodded, "I will be! Once she's gone."

I sighed, "You shouldn't have done that. You could've gotten yourself hurting a Demise like that!"

"I don't care, bitch!" He cursed at me.

I left. I left the room. I spun on my heels and left. I tried not to cry. But one tear came after another. Once I reached the entrance, I opened the door and slammed it.

I fell to my knees. Why? Why me? I thought he loved me....

"What happened, kiddo?"

"He called me a bitch."

I looked up to the Demise and her friend.

"I'm Raychel, call me Ray for short."  The Demise introduced herself.

"Scarlett Johns!" The other girl with black and white hair. He skin was dark as the night with splatters of brown.

"What's your name, sweetheart?"

"Dakota, Dakota Everlynn."

"Come hang with us?" Scarlett asked once they helped me up.

"Sure."

Ray led us towards an abandoned house, was it a house? Dunno.

"This is the detention center! We'll be spending most of our time here!"
