The result of human beings
Since they will be humans forever, some started becoming selfish and having hatred.
And as more time start to pass, humans started creating technology and other things. Forgetting about the favour and the agreement. Thus, cutting down trees and disobeying the agreement.
The trees wanted to warn the humans of their doings, but since the humans don't understand the trees, they cannot communicate, that leaves them with only one way to warn them, create natural disasters to warn the humans of their doings. And of course, the disasters cause lives.
Only some understood what the natural was trying to say and stopped trying to damage the earth. Those who spare thoughts for the nature, were spared from those disasters, while those whom continued hurting and damaging the environment, were severely punished.
