Chapter 3

Ross' Pov

Laura and I looked into eachothers eyes, i noticed she was crying, and i was too. We both looked down, noticing we were staring for too long.

"Ross...?" she cried

"yeah?" I asked as i looked up

"I hate how we've been fighting lately..." she cried, and she wiped a tear from her face.

"So have I.. It's really all my fault.. I was so mean to you.. i... i don't even know why." i replied

"There has to be a reason..." she said, looking at me with her big brown eyes.

"there...there isn't.." I said

"well, alright.." she said.

There was a pause, no one talked for about a minute, then Laura broke the silence.

"how come you decided to save me?" she asked

"I know i said i hated you... its just that you don't realize how much you love someone till you loose them." i replied

"y-you love me?" she said, with a small smile

"well yeah, you're my best friend, you've been there for me for  a lot" I smiled

"You're my best friend too, thank you for saving me...I love you too.." She smiled, with tears in her eyes.

I smiled.

"i dont know what i would have don't if I lost you, I cant make it without you." I said, blushing.

Laura blushed, although she looked like she was trying not to cry. I saw a tear roll down her face.

"hey" i whispered "don't cry" i smiled

"i just really missed you" she smiled

I hugged her tightly, i never wanted to let go.

"Hey, uh, Ross could you come outside the room for a second?" someone said

I pulled away from the hug, it was the doctor. I followed the doctor to the hallway.

"We found out what happened to Laura." he said

"What happened? How'd she faint?" I asked

"well, i looks like her breathing patterns were very odd, she must have been crying, leading to short breaths, leading to hyper ventalation" he explained

"its nothing to get worried about, its simply from crying." He added

I zoned out.. Laura fainted because she was crying, she was crying because of me!

"t-thanks for telling me.." I stuttered

"No problem, Laura should be able to go home tonight." He said

"Okay, thanks" i said

"So I'm assuming you're her boyfriend, do you know her parents number?" He said

"ohh, no, i'm just a close friend.." I looked down

"And, sorry i don't know their number" I said

"ah okay, we'll just have to as her, thankyou for the information" He said

"You're welcome.." I sighed

"were just going to do a few tests on her, it should take a half an hour, you could wait in the lobby." he said

"Okay, i will, thanks" I said as i started to walk down the hall. I pulled out my phone while i was walking and I called Raini and Calum, I figured they'd be worried sick and they probably want to know what's going on. They said they'd be there in a few minutes, i hung up and sat down in the lobby, i took out my phone and looked through some old pictures. I saw a picture of me and Laura, we were so close back then... Hopefully, things will get better, and me and Laura will grow back together. i could only hope for the best..
