Chapter 4

Ross' pov

A few minutes later, Calum and Raini bursted through the door.

"ROSS! WHERE IS SHE! I NEED TO SEE MY BESTFRIEND!" Raini worried

"she's in a room, dont worry, she's fine, they're just doing a few tests on her then she can leave." I explained

"ugh. How long?" She asked"I don't know... they told me they'd tell me when they were done." i replied"oh.. how long have you've been waiting here?" she asked

"about a half an hour so far.." i said, looking down."well, we'll wait with you. Hopefully it won't take much longer" She said.There was a long silence, then Calum broke it."So how'd you find this hospital?" He asked"I carried Laura till I found one.." I said"I thought you weren't...well... friendly with Laura?" He said"We made up." I said"That's good... So did you find out how she fainted?" He askedMy eyes filled up with tears but I forsed myself not to cry. "She....... she got hyper ventalation from crying, nothing big." I choked."oh.." he said.After a few minutes, a doctor came in, i recognized him from Laura's room.(AUTHORS NOTE- WARNING: THIS PART IS REALLY REALLY SAD. JUST SAYING)"Ross?" He saidi stood up quickly and walked to him. "yes? is Laura ready to go home?"  i asked

"not quite yet... Please come up to Laura's Room while we wait for her family to get here. We have some bad news, Laura needs to be surrounded by her family and closest friends.""uh... okay..." I said nervously as I followed him up to the room.

A few minutes later, Laura's parents and sister came in. "Laura! What happened honey! Are you okay!?" She asked"Mom, I'm fine!" she said"okay everyone, we have some news from the tests..." he said."what is it?" Laura's Dad asked"well... Laura has cancer." He said

My heart sped up, yet i wasn't moving, i was in shock, i couldn't move, i was paralyzed with sadness, i saw tears rush into her famlie's eyes, and Laura? She was pale, she looked sick and about to pass out. I was suddenly breathing heavily, crying. "SHE CAN'T HAVE CANCER! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" I screamed"I'm very sorry bu-" "NO! SHE CANT! DO THE TESTS AGAIN! SHE DOESN'T! SHE CANT! IT'S NOT RIGHT! SHE-SHE CANT! I LOVE HER!" I screamedEveryone just looked at me. At this point i couldn't control myself."Okay, calm down, it is a very minor case, with surgery, we could remove it before it spreads, it's a good thing we caught it now, otherwise it would have been too late." he explained.

Laura's mom let out a sigh of relief "what ever it takes, just please, get it removed." she said, crying"we will start surgery right away." he saidI walked over to Laura's bed and crouched down."Don't worry Laura, you'll be healed, i know you will." i cried as I forced a smile, i put my hand on laura's cheek. Laura put her hand on top of mine." I love you" she cried"I love you too" i repliedI stood up and started to walk outside. i turned back and smiled. "Good luck" i said and then continued to walk.I went into the hallway, not wanting to tell Calum and Raini the news. I became depressed, mad, everything, i felt like punching a wall. I care about her so much. Even though we had fights, and we disliked eachother sometimes, we always knew we were a match.. i couldn't possibly live without Laura. I cant go a day with out seeing her beautiful smiled, hearing her laugh, and even though we fought, i still loved her, when i said i hated her, i regreted it right after I said it. I loved Laura... i just never realized I did, untill i almost lost her. Also... by now, I think its more than just friends, but...friends is pretty much all we will ever be...Laura doesnt like me.. and its okay, i still care about her, alot.AUTHORS NOTE- Hey guys! sorry about the delay! I was really busy this week! I had end of semester tests and i had to study!
