Wally wasn't sure where he was, or what happened. All he remembered was that he and Artemis kissed. He thought that it might have been a dream. Wally felt someone grab his hands. He wasn't sure who was touching him, but the hands were soft and warm. He slowly opened his eyes, and saw that Artemis was standing there. He scrunched his eyebrows at her in confusion. He looked around the room and realized that he was back at his room in Mount Justice in bed. Artemis was wearing her civilian clothes. Wally noticed he was still wearing his suit. He felt his head.
"What happened Arty?" He asked groggily.
"Superman found us. He saw us in the room with his x ray vision and broke us out of that room. We almost froze to death in there. They sent Robin and Zatanna to take down Savage. I woke up almost right away, but you've been passed out for hours." She explained. Wally nodded absent-mindedly.
"Huh. I thought I was dreaming. I thought I kissed you." He said while rubbing his eyes as an excuse to not look Artemis in the face. Not that he could see it, but Artemis was blushing madly!
"Your an idiot Baywatch! Yeah we did kiss, but I wasn't going to tell ANYONE. Were you?!" She questioned loudly in a higher pitched voice. It was clear that Artemis was embarrassed that she let her bodily urges take control of her. Wally smiled. He had something to hold over her now.
"Sure. I won't tell anyone. But I want YOU to do something for ME in return." He said with wonderment in his eyes. Artemis folded her arms and glared.
"What do you want?" She grumbled.
"I want you to go on a date with me." He said with a snicker. Artemis' eyes widened. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"What?" She asked in shock.
"I said I want you to go on a date with me." He enunciated which made Artemis angry. Wally held up a finger.
"Oh and you have to wear a dress on that date... ARTY." He said with a wink which caused Artemis to turn crimson. She folded her arms.
"No way Baywatch. You'd beat me in a fight before I wore a dress or went on a date with YOU." She exclaimed. Wally smiled confidently.
"Sounds like a bet to me. Wanna have a fight?" He asked while getting up from bed. Artemis cracked her knuckles.
"Damn right I do. If I lose, then I'll go through with the date. But we know that that'll never happen." She said with a laugh.,
"Then lets go have ourselves a fight in the training room... ARTY."
