A/N
Hey people! This one shot is different. It was an unfinished one on my personal account (SlimJimKim ) that I wrote before Austin and I created this one. It's not titled Nightwing x Reader because it's told from the point of view of a girl named Victoria.
I just found it again and I decided why not? So I finished it and put it on here instead.
This one may seem a bit different from the others on here but I trust you will like it anyways.
Please enjoy!

"I'm sorry, Victoria. I just don't love you anymore."
The words spoken by my boyfriend, Paul, pierced deeply into my heart. Those were the words I never thought I'd hear from him. Never thought it would end. We were supposed to have "happily ever after". And yet those words were leaving his mouth, without problem.
I couldn't take it. I put my hands over my mouth and let the tears run down my cheeks. Paul Alexander Evans. The love of my life, didn't love me anymore?
My head started spinning, I felt my stomach drop, my legs shaking. "Paul," I pleaded, weakly. "Please."
"I'm sorry, Vic."
That was his nickname for me. My mind turned from sorrow to rage. I wiped the tears away.
"Don't you ever call me Vic again!" I shouted.
Without even bothering to see his reaction, i ran. I ran as fast as I could, wherever my legs took me. At this point, I didn't care where I went. As long as I was away from him.
I ended up in an alley in Gotham City. It was dark, and I'd probably get jumped or raped, but I didn't care. That would be a step-up.
I leaned my back against the wall, burying my head into my arms, just waiting to get mugged.
I didn't want to live anymore. I was done with this.
I've had my heart broken too many times, thinking Paul would finally be the one I could trust.
I was wrong. It was hopeless.
After a while, I heard someone's footsteps a few feet from me. My heartbeat paced. I held my breath.
Good bye, world.
I shed my last tear, preparing for the pain of the Gotham goons, when I felt strong hand on my shoulder.
"Are you okay?"
That was not what I expected. I lifted my head and took a glimpse at whose hand it was.
They were male, tall, and well-built. It was too dark in the alley to see anything else.
"Y-yes." was all I could manage.
The guy held out his hand. I hesitated before grabbing it, and allowing him to lift me up off the dirty ground.
"Here, let's get somewhere safe. I know a place." he said, and pulled me behind him. We stopped in shadows and hid behind dumpsters ever so often, until reaching a fire escape.
