One last kiss

"Oh great." Kara whispers.

She slowly stands up and carefully lets Alex's head back onto the couch.

Kara tiptoes over to the door and while not waking up Alex, she opens the apartment door and steps outside.

"What do you want?" Kara rudly states while closing the door.

"I, um, i thought about what you said. Last night and all, and, um, well, it got me thinking real good."

"Okay. So that doesnt answer my question. What do you want?" Anger shows in both Kara's words and expressions. Lena never knew that Kara could be angry, she was taken aback by it.

"I, well, i wanted to say that i am sorry. For kicking you out and all. And just for everything i said to you."

Kara stares at her. "Thats it?"

Lena sighs. "Screw it all." She mumbles.

"Huh?" Kara responds.

"Okay. You came to my home, and just blindly professed your love for me! Hell okay i knew you liked me, but when you said all that stuff about chosing me an-and getting me, and you said all this stuff about opportunities for us. It opened up a whole new perspective. Then i-i told you to get out."

Kara winces at the memorie. "Get out." The moment replays through her head.

"And i told you that i didnt want my life to be defined by some giant ass speech, but here i am giving you one hell of a big speech, hoping that even after this, your going to understand what i have to say."

"And what do you have to say?" Kara asked as she leaned against the wall.

"You are amazing. Who wouldn't love you! I mean, your a god dam superhero, yo-your a fricken alien for God's sake! And i honeslty would just love to be with you i-" kara cuts her off.

"So then be with me! You want to be with me so do it! Stay with me, be with me, fall in love with me. Just fall for me an-and let me catch you this time! Let me be with you an-an- i just, i can't tell you how right it feels to be next to you. It feels destined it- it just feels so right!" Kara pushes herself off the wall before continuing to speak.

"I cant tell you anything, i cant say anything to you because i cant explain it! The feeling i have when im around you, its this feeling that were ment to be and i cant explain it! No one in the world could explain the feeling i get and just the feeling of how you and me together is just so....right. I suck at big speeches so this is the best i can give you."

Lena's face begins to show emotion. Her face goes from a wide smile straight to an apologetic look. Even a stupid clueless person  could see where this was headed

Lena's facial expression changes seconds before she speaks up.

"Oh screw it."

She briskly walks up to Kara and pushes her against the wall, their lips smashing into one another. At first, just a simple kiss, but the passion builds up and Kara pushes back with force.

Lena grabs Kara's waist and pulls her closer, smiling at the warmth of Kara's body against her own.

Seeing Lena smille, makes Kara giggle which causes the kiss to break up. "So i guess you decided to slow down." Kara whispers, with her forehead on Lena's.

"Walking like a turtle." Lena whispers back.

The door opens to the hallway and Lena jumps away from Kara.
