Deux

After about 2 hours of sketching and painting you finally finished your piece. You felt content with your art work. You examined it to make sure it was perfect and sighed.

You knew who your art piece was. But many people could interpret it differently. You took one last glance at the painting and covered it. You walked out of your studio and stretched.

You walked into the living room and jumped on the sofa. You laid there, staring at the ceiling for about 5 minutes. Finally you snapped out of it. You got up and went to go grab a glass of water.

You turned on the TV and saw that your favorite drama; Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo was on. You ran to the kitchen and made some popcorn and quickly sat back down on the sofa.

You cried your heart out as you watched the credits roll up. Your heart ached at what had happened. You wiped your tears away, grabbed a tissue and blew your nose. You were always a sap when it came to deaths in dramas.

You checked the time and it was 9:27 pm. You got up and put everything away. You walked to your room and laid down on your bed.

You reached out to your bedside table and turned on the radio.

You fell asleep crying while the faint sound of spring day playing in the back descended further into distance.

You woke up with neck pain. You stretched and yawned, and snuggled back into your soft blankets not wanting to get out of bed. After 10 minutes you decided it was time to start the day.

You did your usual daily morning routine. After you decided to cook some breakfast. You made some eggs and fish, with some additional side dishes. You were finally finished cooking and set everything on the table.

You sat down and ate peacefully. You stopped for a second and sighed. You looked around your house noticing that it was empty. You suddenly got an idea.

"I SHOULD GET A PUPPY!!" You yelled excitedly. You grabbed your purse and keys and headed out the door.

You drove to &DOG pet store and walked in. You looked around the shop and a small puppy caught your eye. You walked towards it and smiled.

This one is the one you wanted. A worker came up to you. "Would you like to see it?" She asked. You nodded your head and replied with a yes.

For an hour you played with the puppy until you were 100% sure you were going to get it. You ended up buying toys, a bed, food and drink bowls etc. And also the puppy.

You were happy to at least have a pet in the house. You finally got home after a 20 minute drive. You grabbed the cage your puppy was in and all the bags that had the things for him.

You had a bag hanging from your mouth, three from your left arm and the puppy on the other. You struggled to open your door. After about a good minute or two you finally opened the door.

Once you entered your home you put everything down. "What should I name you?" You asked the puppy. He just looked at you and slanted his head right.

"Right well I'll list off dog names and you bark if you like the name okay!" You said to the dog, as if it could speak back to you.

This is borderline lonely.

You thought then shrugged. "Okay! Let's begin. Max, Ace, Elvis, Otis..." After about 20+ names you finally settled on Benji.

"That took forever Benji! Half my day is gone." You pat Benji and went to go get him food and water. Benji ran towards the food and almost ran straight into it.

He gobbled down the food as if he hadn't eaten in days. "My poor Benji. You must have been hungry." You went full mom on him and everything.

After Benji finished his food the both of you laid on the couch and watched Howls Moving Castle. Your eyes got droopy and suddenly you were engulfed with darkness.

You woke up to Benji licking your face. You swat him away softly and then got up. You checked the time and it was only 6:24 pm.

You turned off the tv and went to your room. You grabbed benjis leash and harness. You jiggled the leash and Benji came running to you. You smiled and put the harness on him and attached the leash.

You grabbed your coat, shoes, and keys and headed outside. As you were walking with Benji, a little boy came running up to you.

"Can I pet him?!" The little boy asked excitedly. "Sure." The boy had a huge smile on his face which made you smile.

The boys mom came running up to him. "You can't be running off like that! You might get lost! And who said you can pet this puppy?!" The mom scolded the little boy.

"It's alright ma'am. He asked if he could pet him, and I allowed him to." The mother looked at you and smiled a little. "Well alright then. Did you say thank you to this young lady for letting you pet her puppy?"

The little boy shook his head. "Well then say thank you before we leave." The boy looked at you. "Thank you for letting me pet your puppy." He said with a cute smile.

"You're welcome." You smiled back and waved at them as they left. You turned your attention towards Benji who was sniffing the ground. "Well don't you attack the people's hearts." You patted him and continued on walking.
