Chapter 7~ The truth!

That night I lay in my bed tossing and turning, I couldn't sleep at all! I picked up my phone beside my bed and began to scroll through some notifications. There was a message from unknown so I decided to read it.

I'm sorry about today!~ Unknown

Who are you?~ Jini

If I was to tell you, you wouldn't want to talk to me!~ Unknown

Is this Jungkook? ~Jini

No~Unknown

Well tell me who you are!~ Jini

Come to your window!~ Unknown

I shut off my phone and laid there still, my heart was pounding! I turned my head to face the window and tried to get the courage to go over there! Both my mum and dad are out so I'm home alone!! I got out of my bed and took a deep breath......

I looked down to see Tae standing in the cold!

I opened my window to speak to him.

"What the hell?! You know where I live and it's freezing outside." I didn't have to whisper as my parents were out, staying round my aunties for a few days!

"I'm sorry I came... I just couldn't... stay away from you..." He turned away and began to run back into the remote forest that backs onto our garden.

"wait!" I yelled, lucky our house was detached. "Come in...It's cold." I gestured him to come in.

Before anything else was said he took a large run up and ran up the house and gabbed on the window ledge, pulling himself up. My mouth gaped.

"I'm so sorry for the way I acted the other day! I have a lot to explain.. but I can't tell you without putting people in danger!" His voice filled with panic and worry.

"You can trust me." I grabbed his freezing hand,"Your hands are freezing!"

He wriggled his hand away from mine," If you dare say a word I will have to literally kill you!" I began to laugh but he stared at me seriously.

"Ok.." I looked up into his face.

We sat down on the end of my bed.

"Want to know why I'm trying to stay away from you? Why I shouted at you the other day? Well it's because I'm... Im a Vampire!" I looked into his eyes which changed to a crimson red and his fangs slowly came through his gums.

"That's impossible!" I shook my head in misbelief.

"Fine I'll prove it!" He picked me up with no effort and carried me on his back.

He leaped out of the window and landed without staggering! My mouth gaped in shock. Without hesitation he dashed into the forest but because he was so fast everything was a green blur. He run up a huge green hill, which I didn't even know was there! We reached the top and I stared in awe.

It was beautiful, the moon shone brightly in the velvety sky, with stars spread out like broken shards of reflective glass! It was probably one of the most amazing things I had ever seen! Of course I had seen the moon and stars before but it felt like this time I had taken more notice of how stunning they actually was!

"Now do you believe me?" He still looked up at the sky.

"Yea I do." I turned my head to face him and he did the same.

"Aren't you afraid of me? I'm a vampire...." He said in confusion.

"No I'm not afraid....I'm more afraid of never seeing you again..." A tear formed in my eye.

"I'm half..." I looked at him and tilted my head.

"Half what?" I asked.

"Half Vampire, Half human.... I'm not a full blood so I age the same rate as humans but once I reach 100 I go back to being a baby again and the process repeats..." He explained in a half annoyed tone.

"Do you ever-" I paused worried about asking him,"Do you ever get the urge to you know-"

"Kill you?" He finished my sentence.

"Yea kill me?" My heart raced but I wasn't scared of him.

"Yea... Imagine being able to smell the most amazing, tempting smell all day long and all you want to do is kill and eat it! Well that's what it's like for me, that's why you have to stay away from me!"  I rested my head on his shoulder and felt my eyes beginning to close.

I slapped my alarm clock realising I was back in my room! I looked to see if Tae was there but he wasn't. I was quite sure I didn't dream it all up!
