[ Haikyuu x reader ] Oneshots

Daichi [ Ｉｎｔｅｒｖｉｅｗ ]

You enter the school gym and saw a bunch of students playing volleyball, you stood there in awe as you silently listen to the squeaks of their shoes.

"Y/N, what brings you here?'' You looked behind you and saw Suga covered in sweat, you softly smiled at him and showed him the notepad with a bunch of question, neatly written.

"Is Daichi here? I want to interview him for our school newspaper''

"I'll call Daichi for you''

You thanked Suga and proceeded to silently watch the players slamming and blocking the ball, their eyes was filled with determination and motivation. Which gave you the chills on how serious they are but you also admire them knowing that they wanted to improve.

"Y/N?'' You spun around and saw Daichi covered in sweat while holding a volleyball on his side. You met his brown orbs and gave him a toothy grin.

"It's nice seeing you, sorry I've been so busy that I couldn't spend some time with you and Suga'' You rubbed the back of your neck, ever since you've joined the newpaper club there have been less time for you to spend with Suga, Daichi and Asahi. I mean you always tried to create a plan for you guys to hang out, but there are also continous work pile you have to submit. So in the end you have to cancel it, you really did felt bad.

"No worries, Y/N. I know that being on the newpaper requires a lot of your time and Suga and I have always see you inside of your club room typing on your laptop nonstop'' Daichi smiled, you let out a sigh in relief being thankful for a friend that is so understanding.

"Thank you Daichi for being so understanding''

"It's no big deal but remember to take care of yourself''

"You sound like Sugamama'' You snickered while you watch as Suga look at you and gave you a small glare on the side of the court.

"OI! I HEARD THAT'' Suga shouted, you flinch at his comment and apologize. You tug Daichi outside and ask him a few question regarding their victory against Shiratorizawa. You listen to his precise yet short answer while you wrote his answers on your notepad listening attentively so that there will be no any mistakes. You were so focus in writing down his answers you didn't notice Suga, Nishinoya, Enoshita, Tanaka and Asahi peering out the gym door all of them looking at both you and Daichi.

"Suga-san, who is that girl?'' Enoshita whispers not taking his eyes on both of you.

"Is she Daichi's girlfriend'' Tanaka said.

"Whoa, Daichi have a pretty girlfriend'' Nishinoya added, Suga interrupted them by pulling them inside the court.

"She's just a friend and focus on your practice, You too Asahi stop looking at them and come here'' Asahi flinch for a moment and nervously rub the back of his neck beforing running in the court to resume practice.

Kageyama on the other hand saw the whole incident and got curious. Silently going to the gym door and peering out to see you and Daichi.

"Oi, Kageyama what are you doing'' Hinata asks peering beside Kageyama to see what his looking at. Landing his eyes on your small figure, writing attentively on your notepad.

You looked up on your notepad and saw them peering out the gym door behind Daichi. You smiled at them giving out a small wave. Shocked and embarrased they retreated inside.

"What are you looking at Y/N'' Daichi asks while he curiously look behind him.

"There were two people peering on the gym door, one has an orange hair while the other have a blueberry colored hair'' Daichi looked embarrased and rubbed the back of his neck apologizing by his members action. You chuckle for a bit before assuring Daichi that it's okay.

"I'll have to lecture them later''

"I wish them luck, angry Daichi is scary Daichi'' You joke, while you could see a frown on Daichi's face

"It's okay, we all know that even scary Daichi have a kind heart'' You winked at him which made him chuckle for a bit. Minutes had passed and your notepad was filled with notes and erasure.

"Were done! Thank you so much for your time''

"It's Okay,  I also wanted to ask you something'' Daichi rubbed the back of his neck before making eye contact to you once again

"Would you like to hang out tomorrow noon?'' You looked at your notepad and at Daichi, recalling that it's been a long time since you two had hang out this made you realized this is the best oppurtunity to make another memory with Daichi ( Not that kind of memory ).

"SURE THAT SOUNDS GREAT!'' You smiled, seeing your smile made him relax. He grabbed your wrist before gently tugging you inside the court.

"In exchange for the interview I want to introduce you to the members'' You hid your pen and notepad on your pocket before entering the gym

I wanted to introduce them my future girlfriend
