Chapter Thirty-Five

(Unknown's POV)

They thought by getting rid of me would do any good for them but it didn't. She's just in my way of getting the prize.

This time, I'm going to kill her and her brat.

(Marc's POV)

Returning home, we pot Ava'lynn in her crib as we went to bed.

            2 Hours Later

"Marc wake up, Ava'lynn is missing" Viviane yelled.

"What do you mean" I asked.

"Monica has taken Ava'lynn" Viviane said.

"Did she left a note" I asked.

"Yes she said to bring two thousand dollars with us" Viviane said.

"Then we should do it, call Ryan and Liam" I said.

"Oh ok" Viviane said as she got up from the bed.

I know only one place where she could be and that's the warehouse. Calling Ryan and Liam, I told them to meet us at the warehouse.

"Come on, I know where she is" I said taking the phone out of Viviane hand.

"You do" Viviane asked.

"Yes no come on" I said.

Walking outside, me snd Viviane got in the car and started to drive. I could tell Viviane was crying because her tears was still wet. She fell asleep with her head on the window.

Making to the warehouse, I made sure to lock the door so no one could get to Viviane.

Walking in, I was surprised at what I was seeing. Marléne was holding Ava'lynn who was crying while Monica was dead on the floor.

"Why Marlene" Viviane asked.

Turning around I started thinking when did she woke up. But that doesn't matter as Viviane had fear in her eyes.

"Why you ask, You was the one with the perfect life while I was just your shadow. You don't know what it's like to be hurt" Marléne said with anger.

"Yes I do you just don't know, now hand me my baby" Viviane said.

Viviane had started walking closer to Marléne who handed Ava'lynn to Viviane carefully.

When Viviane had Ava'lynn in her arms was when Marléne took a gun out. Making a move before she did, I shot her.

"Marc what did you do" Viviane asked.

"She was going to shoot you" I said.

"You could of knock the gun out of her hand" Viviane said.

"Are we just going to argue or leave" I asked.

"Leave" Viviane said as she walked off.

"I know you're confused, but it was the right thing" I said.

I know she's mad at me but she'll get over it. Ryan and Liam said they're going to make sure that they get a memorial service.

This is part of my job and Viviane know this. I would do anything in my power to protect them.
