.: Michael's POV :.
Today is a weird day. All of the men and women are coming to the middle of the island to see each other. Why?
Because we do this every month to see who's died and for the CEO to make a speech once instead of twice.
Why is it a weird day? Because I haven't seen my sister in a month. Or any girls in that case. Kind of forgot what they looked like.
All men on this side don't talk about girls, or the girls side unless we're adding something to our plan to escape.
Everytime we go out there, I'm expecting it to be different, and my expectations always fail me.
It's the same boring junk for an hour everytime. We see the girls, wait a bit, listen to the speech, and then wait for the call back to our facilities.
Soon, we're called to leave the building. We walk out, chains connected, in a straight line.
Once we get out, we're free to roam, chains removed. I walk around and eventually run into my literal partner in crime.
"How's it going, Max?" I ask.
.: Max's POV :.
"Pretty good. Where's your sister?" I ask. "I don't know. I haven't seen her yet."
Me and Michael used to rob banks, start fires, and bomb places together. Now we're here. Got caught together.
I like to say it was his fault we got caught, but it was me for him.
I spotted Morgan, Michael's sister, fallowed by Shelby, who was also in on this.
"Hello everyone. Well, almost everyone. Where's Mark and Felix?" Shelby asked. We all shrugged.
"OVER HERE GUYS!" Mark yelled, walking over. Felix fallowed, and then another person. "Who's that?" Michael asked before I could.
"This is Sean. He's with us now." Mark said. "Good. We needed a few more hands." I say.
"Speaking of more hands, Jess is getting released in two weeks. She's not infected anymore." Shelby says. Morgan nodded.
"Felix figured out that there's Seventy two exits and twenty two staff entrances in each facility." Mark said, continuing.
"Nice Felix. I would give you a high five, but... You know." I say. He laughed.
"Jess heard from guards outside her door that boats will start arriving earlier because new ones were bought." Morgan said.
Before anyone could say anything else, the CEO of this hell stood on stage.
He gave the same speech as always, about the consequences of trying to escape. Death. There's no reasoning.
After that, the group talks some more, then we're all called back.
We might be ready to escape. We just need one more pair of hands.
...Please hurry Jessica...
