I walk in the halls, without my chains on. I'm not supposed to be here. But I am special.
I have hearing that binds me of all other senses. And I heard crying from all the way on the other side of the facility.
I walk, listening for the source. "What are you doing without your chains on?" A hear from in front of me.
"I'm going to save someone." I say. "You're not going anywhere." I hear one of them pull the trigger and a sharp pain in my shoulder blade grew as I felt myself bleed.
I grasped my shoulder, trying to block the blood. "Now that's strike one. GO. GET. IN. YOUR. CHAINS." One says.
"No," I say. "You're... In my way."
He shot my foot, causing me to fall over. "Strike two. One more strike and you're out." The other one says.
"I said you were in my way... Do you think that was a joke?" I ask. I grab a metal pole lying on the ground and jab the first one in the stomach. Killing him.
I hit the gun out of the other one's hands and shoot him in the shoulder blade and the foot.
"Now both teams have two strikes. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME." I yell. I limp down the hall, still holding my arm.
I hear the cries coming from this particular room. I use the gun to shoot the lock, revealing an old friend.
"Oh my Irene! Wengie! Are you okay!?!" She asked. She wasn't able to get up because she was chained to the wall.
.: (Princess) Rizu's POV :.
"I'm alright. What about you? Why are you crying?" She asked. "They locked me in this freezer. Why do you think I'm crying?" I ask sarcastically.
"What did your pour soul do to deserve this?" She asked. "Oh, I donno, kill a thousand people with one disease." I say jokingly.
"Haven't we all. Come on, you deserve a hug." She says, hugging me. Something wet hits my shoulder.
"W-wengie?" No response. "Are you okay?" I ask. "Don't move." She said. I look at the door to a guard, standing there, gun pointed at her back.
"Strike three. You're out. Your team lost." He says.
The next few seconds were hell.
He pulled the trigger. I watched the bullet hit her, go through her back, into her chest, piercing her heart. Her body fell onto mine.
"W-wengie?" I ask, even though I already know she's dead. Her skin turns cold as the guard walks away. Tears rolled furiously down my cheeks.
My friend just died in my arms.
"You... Were in my way." I say.
I stroke her hair. My tears drop onto her lifeless body.
"I could've helped you."
