And you're gone.

But the cigarette butts lying on the floor,
Make me realise you were
Suffocating me.
I can still see the grey smokes around
Whirling around just as your thoughts.

And you're gone.

The white powder sprinkled over my life,
Make me scream that you were
Paralysing my soul.
I can still whiff all of it up
Just so as to keep your absence fade.

And you're gone.

But your diary is still there on the desk
Make me whisper that you still
Lead me to distant dark places.
Your words in my memory
Are still like music to me.

And I realise you're not just gone.
You were never there.
