Adrian's POV
When we got to the house Chloe started looking for clothes for Taylor. Jason went to his room and set his phone on the kitchen table. I sat down, exhausted, then Jason's phone rang. It was an unknown number.
"Hello?"
"Hello, are you one of the visitors for Taylor James?" James? I guess that's Taylor's last name.
"Um yes who is this?"
"I'm a nurse at the hospital, I hate to say this but I have bad news."
"Ok what is it?" Chloe came in and mouthed 'who is it' I shook my head and turned my back to her.
"Someone's has kidnapped Taylor." She said and, out of shock, I hung up. I turned to face Chloe and saw her with her hands on her hips, obviously about to tell me about rudeness.
"Someone's kidna-" I was cut off by a cheerful Jason.
"Alright let's go!!" He said, a broad smile plastered to his face.
"Um Jason we need to talk." I said.
"Yeah sure go ahead." He said sitting at the kitchen table.
"Well you got a call from the hospital," He opened his mouth to say something but I continued, "They said she's been kidnapped." His face went pale and he stood up slowly.
"You guys can go up to the hospital I think I'm gonna stay here." Chloe started to say something but I stopped her and shook my head. I had to practically drag her outside and into my truck.
"What is wrong with you?! Your going to allow him to just sit there and do nothing!" She yelled.
"He'll do something he probably just needs to think about what he's gonna do."
Taylor's POV
I was actually sleeping for a while until I felt myself being slapped.
"Ow!! You know going old school and pouring water on me is good too." I said trying to touch my face, hopelessly. I realized I had different clothes on but I didn't want to know who changed them. My eyes adjusted and saw a Pale, slightly muscular guy leaning over me. But the one thing I couldn't get over we're his eyes. They were exactly like mine.
"Ok dad doesn't know I'm in here so we'll have to make this quick. That means no questions just listen alright?" he said in a rushed tone. When I nodded he continued, "Ok when dad did all those terrible things to you he was doing that to me too. I know you want out of this so I've come up with a plan. You have to gain his trust so he'll take the cuffs off of you. I cant take them off because he has the keys. Then you and me will sneak out and run away. I have a place up in the mountains in Montana we'll never have to deal with him again."
He stopped and looked me straight in the eye. I thought over everything he just said.
"Ok I like everything you just said but there's a major problem to this plan," He looked at me confused, "He'll go after Jason, Chloe, and Adrian. I can't let that happen." The serious tone I had sounded foreign to me. I never had a situation that I couldn't just take the pain and deal with it.
"Ok we can work around that but there's nothing else in the plan that you have something against right?" he asked. I shook my head no and as soon as I did the door to the cellar flung open.
"What did I tell you Leon!" Richard yelled in a harsh tone. Leon was born a year after me but he died after he was born, or so we thought.
"I'm sorry dad it's just I've never met her in person and she's my sister. I just couldn't wait." He said looking down. Richard walked over to Leon and grabbed his chin forcing Leon to look up at him.
"I thought you ran away again." He said. He sounded relieved, it disgusted me. "So how about we have some family time?" Richard said cheerfully, "I got some pizza and pop and movies and popcorn and-"
"I think we get it Richard!" I said cutting him off. He looked down at me and laughed. The man who seemed completely serious and intimidating, laughed!! He reached into his pocket and took out a key then took off my cuffs. I rubbed my wrists, which were now bleeding because of how tight he put them on.
The rest of the day was actually fun. We watched old Disney movies, ate food, and I got to know Leon a lot better.
"So what! Your taller than me but that doesn't change the fact that I'M OLDER!!!" I yelled. Leon laughed and we continued to argue about this. Richard had went to bed and I would have totally left by now but the doors were practically bolted shut and the window were bullet proof. Plus there wasn't a phone anywhere. After a while we ended up falling asleep on the couch. I felt something tugging at my heart, telling me this wasn't right. But I ignored it, I wanted nothing more then sleep at the moment.
"Jason?" I asked as he stepped into the light. He laughed and then the unspeakable happened. Richard steeped into the light as well and handed him a gun.
"I wanted to do it but I think you've earned it." He said. Jason took it, a huge smile on his face. He looked like he had just unlocked the secrets of life. He turned and pointed the gun at me, his smile gone, his face had no emotion. Then he pulled the trigger...
