Valentine's Day.

Now typically this would be the part where a whole rant about the holiday is given but there are more pressing matters than that. Like the fact that right now that this very moment one of the Armed Detective Agency's most prized members was kidnapped, yet again.

That matter was pretty pressing but the fact that Chuuya was left alone at a bar on Valentine's Day half drunk and not in the right mind to refuse someones flirting was also a very pressing matter.

What to do, Dazai thought to himself, looking back and forth between Chuuya and the door to the bar. The Detective Agency probably needed his help finding Atsushi but his Chuuya was also in danger of being swept away by another man (or woman). The bar Chuuya frequented was fairly safe but who knows what sleazy bastard could walk through those doors next. Dazai just couldn't take the risk.

So, in the end, Dazai decided it would be best to stay with Chuuya; Atsushi was a grown tiger he could take care of himself. Its not like Dazai thought Chuuya was weak, its just that the hatrack couldn't think straight when he was drunk.

Dazai sat down next to Chuuya at the counter, motioning for the bartender who was probably sick and tired with his shenanigans by now."Could I get a glass of water for my friend over here?" Dazai requested with a smile.

The bartender gave him a knowing look, walking off and mumbling to himself,"Friend, huh..."

Dazai looked over at Chuuya, taking the beer he had away from him. Chuuya looked up with a confused expression, not really recognizing who was next to him. He was sore and tired from working all day, he didn't give a shit about who was sitting next to him and only wanted his drink back.

"Hey, you bastard!" Chuuya shouted."Gimme my drink back!"

Dazai clicked his tongue, shaking his finger back and forth in refusal."Now, now Chuuya we cant have you getting too drunk and destroying this poor mans bar now can we?"

The bartender came back with the glass of water and Dazai thanked him, sliding the drink over to his companion who mumbled something random and chugged it quickly. He probably thought it was alcohol.

"Alright then!" Dazai said, hopping up out of his seat and startling Chuuya."Lets get you home then."

Dazai grabbed Chuuya and put him on his back, hoisting his legs up and piggybacking him out of the bar. Chuuya didn't protest, only grumbling softly whenever Dazai would bump into something or lose his footing.

Chuuya's house was only two blocks away from the bar so Dazai didn't have to walk to far, plus since Chuuya was so small he was really easy to carry. Dazai walking into the apartment complex, looking up at the flights of stairs that awaited him. Stupid Chuuya and his stupid second floor apartment.

Once the rough trek up the stairs was completed, Dazai walked (more like limped) to the front door of Chuuya's apartment. He dropped Chuuya on the floor and fished for the mans keys, finding them easily in his front pocket. Opening the door he dropped Chuuya off on his ugly couch, walking into the bathroom to wash up from his (not so) hard day of work.

Chuuya grumbled to himself, abruptly sitting up and looking around. He sighed, realizing he was in his apartment. There was a noise from inside his bathroom and Chuuya was instantly on edge but once he heard a familiar humming he relaxed a little. It was only Dazai.

The bastard had probably taken him home from the bar, knowing Chuuya wouldn't be able to do it himself. He decided to wait until the bastard came out and then kill him. Today was going to be a good day.

Chuuya went into his kitchen, grabbing himself a glass of water to relieve the nights mistakes, but not everything he did was a mistake. He did ending bringing Dazai to his house and now Chuuya was going to finally have his way with him.

Dazai finally showed himself, walking out of the bathroom with that confident stride that made Chuuya bite his lip in anger. Upon noticing Chuuya awake, Dazai strode over to him quickly and Chuuya let himself smile.

"Hey Dazai," Chuuya said, watching warily how Dazai just kept walking completely unfazed by Chuuya."Nice to see you here. Now I can finally kill you and get your shitty face out-"

Dazai slammed his lips onto Chuuya's before the man could continue. Chuuya instantly tensed up, confused thoughts running around in his mind. What was Dazai doing? Kissing him? Why? Why was Dazai kissing him? What did this mean? Did Dazai...like him? No, no, no that wasn't possible. Dazai couldn't like him...could he?

Dazai trailed his hands around Chuuya waist, making all his thoughts stop as a warm tingling spread around his body. It felt good. It felt really good and Chuuya couldn't do anything, just remained frozen as Dazai raped his lips. Was it considered rape if you liked it? Not that Chuuya was saying he liked it or anything...

Dazai let go, breathing heavily and Chuuya felt a sort of loss but he was also still confused. Why would Dazai do that? What was his goal?

Dazai smiled at Chuuya and said,"Happy Valentine's Day!"

Chuuya froze up, looking at him with confusion."Valentine's Day?" he asked, tilting his head to the side.

"Yes, Valentine's Day! The day of flowers and kisses and love!" Dazai exclaimed, smiling widely at Chuuya.

"...What?" Chuuya asked. He understood what Dazai was saying but couldn't fully understand its meaning. So it was Valentines Day...what did that mean for Chuuya? And why did Dazai bring it up?

He wasn't expecting him to...no, no that wasn't possible. Why would Dazai ever want Chuuya to be his Valentine? Dazai hated him and Chuuya obviously hated Dazai right back. He would never have a chance even if he wanted to be his Valentine, no matter how good that kiss was.

"Chuuya, would you be my-!"

Chuuya punched him in the face.
