Lara's POV

"No, you stay here and give Sydney company before the bell rings," Lara commanded, which was quite scary, so nobody objected. "Lets go Rhea."

She then grabs my arm and takes me out of the cafeteria. I could've sworn I just saw Meredith laughing wickedly at me. God! Everyone was staring weirdly as me and Lara went out. Soon I could not focus at all, my vision started to get kinda blurry, my face felt itchy or tingly in and around the mouth and throat. And I also felt like my nose was running. God! It felt horrible!

Finally enough we reach the nurse's office. Lara knocks on the door while I stand next to her, wiping my nose with my sleeve. The door opens and a short, kinda plump yet pretty lady walks out. She had short blond hair that was cut into a bob and she had pretty blue eyes.

"Hi, I'm Sophia, how can I help you?" She asks Lara who was standing in front of me. Lara then moves out of the way and points at me. "Allergic to peanuts."

The nurse looks at me and her face forms into a look of disgust but she quickly hides it with a smile. Damn how ugly do I look....

"Oh, sweetie, come in and sit on the bed," she says leading us in. The nurse then goes into a small room at the back, probably to get something, leaving me and Lara who looked pissed off, like really pissed.

"How bad do I look?" I ask looking at her. She was standing by the door, deep in thought.

"You look fine," she says uneasily.

I give her a flat look. "Really."

"Ok fine! You look really bad," she admits. "Do you want a mirror?"

I nod my head as she hands me a small make up mirror which was on the medicine cabinet. I wonder what it was doing there... I take the mirror from her and look at my self. Yikes! I look horrible! My face was red and swollen, especially my lips, my nose was running, my eyes were red, I looked a complete mess.

Not even one minute later Sophia arrives with what looks like an injection. Oh I know, it's an epinephrine injection. Many people with allergies carry an epinephrine autoinjector (EpiPen, Auvi-Q, Twinject). This device is a syringe and concealed needle that injects a single dose of medication when pressed against your thigh.

"You know what this is right?" Sophia asked me. I nodded my head in return. She tells me to remove my jeans so she can inject my thigh which was way out of my comfort zone but I did it anyways. She dabs my skin with an antibacterial wipe and then injects me which stung a bit.

"There, we are all done, know all you have to do is go home and sleep and in the next twenty four hours or so, you will be fine." She smiles.

I wear my jeans and thank her.

"By the way, do you not carry an epinephrine auto-injector?" She asked me.

"I uh... actually do have it but I didn't bring it with me because I'm pretty careful in such situations," I say, embarrassed.
