"Hey babe I finally found an ad for cleaning that actually pays well!" You called to your boyfriend James. "Great V, but where is it? I don't want to be driving you all over the city." James called back. You just rolled your blue eyes and didn't bother to answer, the picture of the house made me wonder if it was outside of Calgary though. The address was random, you can't even particularly remember the name, something about 16 churches or whatever, you were not about to memorize it unless you got the job. "I'm going to email the poster of this ad, hopefully they haven't found anyone yet, the pay is great, 50 dollars an hour? That would be really helpful." You thought you yourself as I clicked the compose email button on your laptop.
"Hi there, I saw your ad on Kijiji about house cleaning job and I was hoping you haven't found anyone yet. My name is Violet Terriff, I'm 19 years old and I'm currently taking business at the University of Calgary, but I'm considering switching courses to go to med school instead. I could really use this job to start paying for my student loans. Get back to me if you would like me to come in for an interview to see if I'm the right fit! Thanks, V!"  You had only clicked send 5 minutes ago when You got a reply back. The email read
"Hey Violet, you seem like a good fit for us, can you come by tomorrow around 7pm? I know it's a Friday night but it's the only time my roommate and I are free. We will show you around and give you a key, and we will start you on Monday, does that sound okay? It should take about 2-3 hours tomorrow, we just want to be thorough. The address is 16 Churches Ranch Place."
Hmm, well you didn't have any major plans tomorrow night, you were supposed to go out with your boyfriend and some of his friends but you can cancel, Friday nights come once a week anyways.
"I'll be there! See you at 7pm." You quickly replied back.
"James the place is a little out of town but I got the job, it's $50 an hour and I can give you gas money to drive me and pick me back up okay?" You called to your boyfriend. "Yeah sure it's whatever you think is best Violet, it's your choice." He called back. "James I need to be there at 7pm tomorrow night and it should be done by 9 or 10pm." Hopefully he's not mad that I'm cancelling our plans you thought to yourself "That works fine but I'm still going out tomorrow with or without you."
God, he has been acting so rude lately... Shit! it's already 10:30pm? You got ready for bed because you had to wake up early for 8am classes, you crawled into bed and you were asleep by 11:00. You and James lived in a small trendy condo in downtown Calgary so in the mornings you just hop on the c-train and take it down to the university. James is 2 years older than me but we have been dating since I was 13 and he was 15, he goes to sait he wants to become an EMT, the friends you were supposed to be going out with were his friends from sait.

---The next morning---

You were rushing to get ready on time, you tossed your long blonde hair up in a pony tail and quickly filled in your eyebrows, you drew on some winged liner and popped on some natural false lashes. Since you have clear skin you never wear much face makeup, only when you were going out. You threw on a black bralette and an oversized knitted cream sweater with a pair of ripped blue jeans. You quickly ran to the front door where you put on your coat, scarf and boots. You grabbed your books and bags and ran out the door to the train station. Surprisingly you were early to class considering you woke up late and you were out the door late. The day dragged on as Friday's usually do but when class was done you were so happy to get out of there. On the way home you grabbed jugo juice and at home you hit the books until you had to leave the apartment around 6pm to make it to my "orientation" at the new house you're going to be cleaning. James always made me late for everything no matter where I had to go, so I told him that the people wanted me there by 6:30 instead of 7:00 so I wasn't late for yet another important thing.
By the time we made it to the house it was 6:55, right on time. I said goodbye to James and asked him to be there for 10pm when I would be done.
I walked up to the house and rang the doorbell, I heard footsteps coming to the door and it opened.
"Hi, I'm Violet Terriff." You smiled
