Hermione meet the eyes of a smiling Abraxas Malfoy. 

"Well it seems we will being seeing a lot more of each other Miss Vogel, seeing we will be in the same house and year." Abraxas turned to the headmaster to address him. "Would you like me to show Miss Vogel around the school Headmaster Dippet?"

A small smile graced the headmaster's lips as he gave the young man permission to escort the young lady around school. 

Hermione followed Abraxas out the door closely acting as if she had no idea where she was. She was lead to the great hall doors just before he stopped to inform her about the school. "Now Hermione, I don't expect you to remember everything I show you today so I will be helping you to get to classes. First we should eat because dinner will be over soon and then we can start to tour. Now ever house has a separate table to eat at and students are expected to remain at there own house table for meals. So please fallow me and since its your first day I'll introduce you to a few of my friends who you will be sitting with today, alright?" 

"Thank you Abraxas."

"It's my pleasure Hermione. By any chance are you named after the daughter of king Menelaus and Helen of Troy from greek mythology?"

"Yes I am. I'm shocked most people don't make that conclusion with my name."

"I am well read Hermione. Come on we need to hurry or all the good food will be gone."

With that Hermione followed Abraxas over to the slytherin table receiving many curious looks from the students around her. Hermione sat on Abraxas left side as her sat by a boy with raven hair's side. Hermione's eyes roamed the group recognizing many faces around her as Voldemort first death eaters. 

"Hello gentlemen, this is Miss Hermione Vogel. Remember I told you about the girl that I found hurt." Many boys nodded the heads in recognition. "Well this is her. Hermione this young man across from you is Cygnus Black. Next to him is Lawrence Avery. Newt to him is Victor Roiser and Salvatore Lestrange. Next to me is our perfect Tom Riddle." As soon as that name left his lips Hermine's blood froze. She was in Tom Riddle's era. She was one person way from the villain that would cause her so much pain is about 50 come years. Abraxas kept explain thing to Hermione as what a perfect job was and what to expect here at school. Hermione listened and nodded in understanding but she only did this to be polite. She already knew all this information since she had attend this very school for so many years. 

Dinner was over in a flash and she was surprised she had yet to be asked her blood status. Abraxas soon let her through the halls giving her a tour of the school and telling her where most of her classes would be. He didn't bother showing her where the other houses common rooms would be but lead her down to the dungeons to slytherin common room. Hermione was expecting a portrait of Salazar Slytherin to be guarding the common room entrance not a blank wall. 

"The password is Xenopeltidae." 

Hermione smirked at this. Of course the password would be a type of snake. They entered the common room and to her surprise it was not dull or dark. It was lavish and well lite for being under the black lake. 

"The girls dorm is to the right down the stairs, your dorm will have your name on it, and boys is to the left. Males cannot enter to female dorms but girls can enter the males. My dorm room is the second door to the right. I share it with Tom but you are always welcome if you need anything. Meet me tomorrow morning in common room at six so I can escort you to breakfast." 

"Thank yo Abraxas for everything."

With that Hermione left to the girls dorms. She found her room at the end of the corridor with a trunk and a note.

Dear Miss Vogel,

         I took the pleasure of getting you school items. In the trunk will be your quills, parchment, and books for classes. Tomorrow morning your head of house, Professor Slughorn, will give you your schedule. Your school uniform will be in the closet with your shoes and necessities. There should be 8 sets for everything. I did not know your size so the clothes will go to your size as soon as you put them on and remain that size permanently. There should also be a couple sets of pajamas too. 

        It's a pleasure to have you attending and also your room has warding spells placed on it. Just speak your name and add whom ever you would like to be allowed to enter your dorm whether its is a male or female. The only ones allowed to enter your dorm as of right now is you and the hospital matron Madam Cordelia. She had requested this in case you need any medical help but wish to keep it private. She has taken quite a liking towards you. I hope everything is to your liking and I had a bathroom added to your room so yo will not have to share with the other females of your house but you are welcome to use the common bathroom as well.

       Has a nice night and I will see you tomorrow in class.

After reading the not Hermione couldn't help but smile. Maybe, just maybe things wouldn't be to bad her. She already had one person looking out for her.
