When we finally arrived at the gates, we walked in. I remembered the beauty of the place, breathtaking and awing. The next week was a blur, although it was very exciting. Isabele and I talked for hours about our family, our life, and other things. I found out that Isabele was only 2 years younger than me. After several days, we became to know each other quite well. We would talk for hours on end, laughing and joking around.

One fine autumn day, we were taking a walk in the beautiful garden, filled with flowers of various colors. After talking for a while, Isabele's hand unconciously slipped into mine. Realizing what she had done, she quickly unlatched her fingers from mine.

"I-I.." Isabele stammered. "Sorry!" Her eyes started tearing up, her cheeks turning beat red.

"No," I said. "It's perfectly fine." I grabbed her small hand in mine and hugged her.

She hugged me back, with passion. "Iovoo," she said quickly.

I leaned back and smiled, escaping her hug. "What did you say?"

"I..." Isabele looked down, her face turning red again. "I love you. The second I saw you, fighting off those wolves, I knew I loved you, but I couldn't tell you. I would be discriminated and laughed at if I showed my emotions... I was also afraid that YOU would laugh at me, or become distant from me."

I smiled at her. "I love you too. When I first saw you taking out dagger after dagger, killing those wolves, I knew that I had to be with you. I think it's perfectly fine. My brother Kili married Tauriel, an elf. Do you know who she is?"

Isabele's eyes widened. "Tauriel?! Of course I know who she is! She was one of my best friends when I was younger. I didn't think she was alive!"

"She's back in Erebor, helping out defending it from the Goblins."

Isabele smiled, her perfect, white teeth shining. "I would like to see her someday. Maybe I could go to Erebor with you, when you go back."

I nodded. "I would love for you to come."

Suddenly, her lips connected with mine. They were incredibly soft, and the smell of freshly picked roses grew increasingly strong. She wrapped one of her soft, warm hands around my neck, the other one on my shoulder.

"I love you, and I cannot deny it," she whispered into my ear.

"I love you too." I smiled at her. "Should we tell them?"

"Yes," she said. "As soon as we can."

I wrapped my hand around her small waist, and drew her back in for another kiss. I closed my eyes, wanting this moment to never end.

After some hours of talking about a wedding, we headed out of the garden and into Thranduil's office, where Thorin and him were conversing.

"Yes, but those raids have gotten even worse!" Thorin argued, almost yelling. "Why-"

He was cut off, when Thranduil stared at us. "Yes? What do you want, Isabale?"

"We.."

Then Thorin and Thranduil noticed our linked hands. Thorin's eyes narrowed. "What has been going on, Fili?"

"We wish to marry," I blurted out.

Oh no. I had spoken impulsively. I should have told him slowly.

Thorin frowned. "It seems like I may not have a full dwarf heir, in several hundred years."

Thranduil's eyebrows drew together. "And why do you wish to marry? You have only known each other for 3 weeks."

Isabele spoke up. "Yes, but 3 weeks of talking to each other for several hours a day."

I nod. "We've been talking almost nonstop for those 3 weeks."

Thorin sighed, and looked over at Thranduil. "I give my blessing."

Thranduil looked at Isabele and I. "I suppose so. I do as well. And when are you two going to have the wedding? Here, or Erebor?"

"Probably in a few weeks," Isabele and I said in unison.

Then I spoke up. "I would like to have it here."

Isabele nodded.

Thranduil smiled. "Well, that's perfectly fine! Congratulations!"

Isabele and I talked to the two kings for a while, and soon it became nightfall.

"Goodnight!" I said, as Isabele and I walked out. We stopped at my bedroom door.

"I love you," Isabele whispered into my ear. She then pulled me into her, and kissed me hard on the lips. "I will see you tomorrow, my love."

I nod. "I love you too, darling. I hope we can hold the wedding, soon."

She stepped away from me, flashing a brilliant smile. "Don't let he bed bugs bite." She planted a light kiss on my cheek, and walked away, her footsteps growing increasingly faint.

I smiled a huge smile, and lightly touched my cheek where she had kissed me. I watched Isabele's small frame as she slowly grew smaller in the distance. The moon shone into my room through the window, making it bright like the day. As I walked inside, I grin from ear to ear. "I am in love, and I don't care who knows it."
