"What have I done..." Vincent murmurs to himself, cradling the paling girl in his arms. He watched as she stirred. Leaning into his warm touch as she was in her unconscious state.
It was a warm Tuesday morning during second block AP English. She sat a seat or two in front of him to the left. Always humming show tunes and doodling in her notebook between notes. Her name, Violet Maria Waters.
Everyone loved the beautiful girl. But she was especially admired by the boy Vincent James Ace. He was practically the complete opposite of her but opposites attract, right? Violet's dark, wavy hair stopping near the middle of her chest. She normally wore a simple cool colored sundress and black flats.
Vince on the other hand had hair as dark as an abyss. He normally wore darker colors and a leather jacket along with combat boots. He was often called mute because he was so scared to speak to anyone that he couldn't get anything out... not even a squeak. His voice was a youthful yet deep English accent; articulate and precise.
"Oh look, mute boy is staring at his little crush!" Luke, a boy from class, teases with a smirk. The other automatically looked down at his paper to try and ignore Luke and his friends. With a sigh, Vincent listened as Luke continues "you know she'd ever love you. Boo hoo, did I hurt little Vincie's feelings? What's the matter, cat got your tongue?"
"Leave him alone Luke or I'll personally beat your ass. He's a sweet guy and I'm sure he could get any girl here unlike you, Luke!" Violet spits venomously at the boy. She gets up and sits on the floor beside Vincent, laying her head on the other's lap with a smile.
"Vincent?" Violet mumbles from his couch. The boy had taken them to his house and bandaged her wounds. She was again in his arms and only half coherent when she mumbled "Is it really you?"
