You, Niall and Colton were just relaxing on the couch watching some X Factor. You were cuddled up in Nialls arms, when an old episode came on. It was your audition episode.
"Hey Ni! My audition episode is on!"
"Sweet! Wait hold on pause it! I don't want to miss you sing on stage for the first time!"
You paused the T.V and he went up stairs and got a blanket.
"Ok you can play it!"
You pressed play and watched the episode. It brought back memories. Honestly a lot more memories than you could remember. Even if it was just in the T.V you still got goosebumps from when you auditioned. You walked up on stage and Simon started to talk.
"Hi whats your name young lady?"
" (your first name) (your last name)."
"Who are you with?"
"I'm with my step-dad, mom, sister, my boyfriend of a year and my 5 month old son."
"I'm sorry what???? Your son?"
"Yes my son."
"How old are you?"
"16."
"Tell me how you got a son."
"Well, I was 15 at the time and I started having pregnancy symtoms and I took a test and I found out I was pregnant. By the time he was born I was 16. He was diagnosed with cancer just a month ago so the doctors said he only has only a year left."
It then cut to you talking to the camera.
"Hi I'm (your first name) (your last name), I'm 16 years old and I want to be the winner of the X Factor." Your younger self got choked up. "When I was 15 I got impregnated. At first I was constantly on the fence about wether or not I should keep the baby. I'm glad I did. When my son Colton was born, I just felt like I needed to be there for him. When I met my current boyfriend, he's been helping me raise my son as if Colton was his own. I don't know what I would do if my boyfriend hadn't done at the time that he did. I just love both of them. My boyfriend has really inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming a singer. I owe this audition all to him and my son."
It went back to you on stage.
"Whenever your ready you can go." Zayn said.
You gave the tumbs up and the music started. You couldn't be as nervous as you were that day. Singing infront of people was your worst fear.
"Mama told me mot to watse my life
She said spread your wings my little
butterfly
Don't let what they say keep you up at night
And if they give you shhhh
Then they can walk on by." Your confidence grew and you started to give it your all.
"Walk, walk on over there
'Cause I'm too fly to care, oh yeah
Your words don't mean a thing
I'm not listening
Keep talking, all I know is
Mama told me not to waste my life"
You ended the song with sass to it and everyone including the judges stood up. You started to cry from all the stress. Then Simon started to talk again.
"Wow Y/N! That was incredible!"
"Thanks!"
"You have such a powerful voice!"
"Thank you."
"Now I could really see you in a girl band of some sort. I don't really know why. But you seem like the girl who can work with other people easily."
Zayn said yes. Sharon said no. It was the final decision. Simon took a deep breath.
"Y/N you're an incredible girl. It's very difficult to make this decision. But Ive made it. You're through."
You crouched down with tears spilling out of of your eyes. Simon came up to you and gave you a hug and wispered 'good luck' into your ear. You walked off the stage. Then something that you'd never imagined happened. It quickly skipped back to 2010 when Niall auditioned.
"Well this is unexpected Ni...."
"Yeah it is."
Colton giggles as he saw Niall on the screen. When little Niall started to sing you felt something in your stomach. You put your hand on your stomach and you felt it again.
"Niall feel this!"
"What?"
You took his hand and placed it gently on your stomach. His eye's went wide and he started to tear up.
"Did Zain just kick?"
"Yes he did Niall!"
"He must love when I sing!"
"He may! Because when you started to sing, he started to kick!"
"I think he may be a good football (soccor) player! Cause he kicks hard!"
You put your head on his shoulder and flet Zain kick over and over again.
