LUNCH, IS THE ONE THING A TEEN LOVES when it comes to school. It was practically recess, for high school kids.
"Come one, Archie you promised!" Betty whined slightly pulling on his arm. Betty has been begging Archie to play one of his songs to her since lunch started and according to Adelaide, it felt like an eternity. She was soon about to open his damn mouth and force the ginger to sing.
"Okay, Okay, fine but it's only a draft so be easy on me." He said smiling at her before opening his laptop.
Betty was sitting next to Archie, while Adelaide was sitting next to Kevin across from Archie. He then finally pressed play as the group started to hear his song.
A song, Adelaide quickly recognized, she remembered him singing her this song during one of their many picnics.

Adelaide tried her best to tune out the song, as she was playing with her food, but it was kind of impossible when the whole gang was memorized by it, especially Betty.

"Of course." Adelaide smiling at her, thankful that she came as soon as she did.
"What are we doing?"
"Listening to one of Archie's songs," Betty said as if she was still in a trance.
"I thought we were going to pretend to like it, but it's actually pretty good." Kevin said putting his arm around Addy.
The blonde shrugged scrunching her nose, "Eh, it was mediocre at best."

Addy looked up to see how Archie reacted, and to her surprise, he was hurt.
"Wait, that was you singing, something you wrote?" Veronica asked slightly shocked.
"It's rough," He said scratching the back of his head nervously.
"No it's great, don't listen to Addy she's just a little bit jelly," Betty said playfully teasing her.
"It's incredible actually, from the little snippet I heard. Is that your thing? Music? Are you doing something with that?" Veronica asked, making Betty somewhat uncomfortable on how interested she was in him.
