"WAIT SO YOU'RE REALLY GOING TO the dance with both Archie and Ronnie?" Addy asked her sister as she was reapplying her lipstick.
The two girls were both hanging out in Betty's room, getting ready for a dance they were both originally not planning to go to. Though Adelaide has her own room, she prefers to hang out with her sister since that's how it always used to be, before Polly left.
"Yup! I asked Archie to take, me and V to dance" Betty said still in a daze as she was putting her hair in a ponytail.
"Wow, way to include me in!" Addy said in a playful tone as she put her hair in a ponytail as well.
"Aw no, I'm sorry! I didn't kn-"
"Relax B, Chuck Clayton asked me to go with him earlier today," Addy said reassuring her, that she was only kidding.
"Wait, Chuck Clayton? Sticky maple Chuck Clayton?"
Chuck Clayton, Riverdale's notorious playboy, and the son of the varsity football coach at Riverdale High. Addy would be lying if she said he wasn't attractive, because if she was being honest. Chuck Clayton by far is one of the hottest guys she has ever laid her eyes on.

But who could blame a girl for wanting chocolate time to time?
"Yes, Chuck Clayton. Plus, he can't sticky maple a girl twice, it's unconstitutional."
Last year, Adelaide & Chuck hooked up in the school's janitors closet on multiple occasions, they had an unofficial fuck buddy relationship. So, when Addy "broke" it off in the beginning of summer, she wasn't surprised when she was tagged with a sticky maple.
"Just be careful, Anyways Ads, I got to go Veronica wanted to get ready for the dance together," Her sister said as she was gathering her things.
"Wait, I thought we were gonna get ready together?"
"I know, but since V and I are going with Archie we thought it would be easier this way." Betty shrugged almost out the door of her room, "You understand right?"
"Right, plus Chuck is picking me up anyways," She said, giving her a small smile before she left.
At that moment Adelaide not only realizes that she was losing her sister but she was also losing her best friend.
