Recap: Sam didn't find her mom or dad in the whole house, but they emailed her that they can't visit her. But to overcome her sadness and distract herself, she wants to see what's in the secret room that her mother had hidden from her. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I opened the door; it was weird because it wasn't locked (probably why mom didn't let me in). I turned the lights on and saw that I was standing in a small room probably the size of two closets combined. There was a mirror, which was fixed into the wall. I thought it was an ordinary closet, but then I noticed so many shelves which were covered in books, and were about VAMPIRES? And the wall opposite the bookshelves was covered in portraits of VAMPIRES? Some of them dressed in dark cloaks and others in regular human clothes. A-An-And there was a portrait o-of my mom and dad, Mr. and Mrs. Lucas but at the bottom of the painting was Emmanuel Deschanel and Alice Barnave, the rulers of Inconnus.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME AM I IMAGINING THINGS OR JUST DAY DREAMING? So I pinched myself and yelped in pain. All my life I believed VAMPIRES OR ANY SUCH MAGICAL CREATURES ARE NOT REAL YET HERE I WAS.

I just closed my eyes and tried digesting the information. When I felt a little calm, I opened my eyes, and I just realized there was something else which I didn't discover yet. So what do you expect me to do, just wait there and think and think and think whether I should find out what it is or not? So I just took a deep breath and took a few steps forward. A glass box was on a wooden table, and in it was a bracelet. It had a blue stone inside of a silver heart design. It was so gorgeous that I have an urge to put it on now. Impulsively, I reached out for it with my right hand, took it out of the glass and put it on. It was like someone has hypnotized me. Normally I wouldn't do such a thing but I don't think anything is going to be the same again...
