Why did she have to smile at the thought of that place were Charlie and Merida first had sex, she knew Natasha would catch her but she couldn't help it, if she hadn't Clint wouldn't have punched a wall and Merida wouldn't have cried in front of Natasha. She sat in her mother and fathers room crying into Natasha's shoulder "Merida what were you thinking? You live together your both 16 Merida why would you think this is ok?" Clint shouted. Suddenly what Clint said sunk in and Merida was very pissed off "HOW DO I THINK THIS IS OK?" she screamed "I seem to recall a certain relationship that was against S.H.E.I.L.D protocol she glared. "I also believe that relationship got married and had a child, whilst I'm on a roll lets recall a speech given by you Dad at your own wedding 'you can't help who you fall in love with'" She was out of the door before she even finished her sentence. "Clint what the hell? She loves that boy and all she wants is her fathers approval and your over reacting" Clint's face resembled something of a child who had just been scolded. It also resembled the look of a father who just fucked up.
Merida lay on her bed tears streaming down her face her sobs could be heard down the hallway, the door opened and Steve came and hugged her frame. She sobbed into his shoulder and mumbled "oh Steve I fucked up" he laughed
"I think keeping a relationship secret from your parents for two years is a pretty good run" she chuckled to herself "not you though" he nodded
"I walked on you too asleep spooning each other on the couch when you thought everyone was away, its a good excuse."
"Thank you for not telling my dad uncle Steve" he smiled
"Yeah thanks for not telling dad uncle Steve" he jumped to his feet and saw Clint in the door way "sorry I promised" Clint nodded
"Merida I need to talk to you" Steve left and closed the door. Clint sat on the bed and Merida as a force of habit sat on his lap, Clint laughed but embraced his daughter "Merida I'm an idiotic over protective father that request no sex in your rooms or any where I can walk in on you" her head snapped up to look at him
"So I can still date Charlie?" he nodded and she squirmed with joy
"but my consent wasn't going to stop you was it?" she shook her head laughing at her father "it makes a difference though."
