"the reason for this dinner is that we want both of you to choose a date to get married!"

i sent a look to mom as yoongi's mom said that. my mom showed me a 'peace' sign while sipping her wine. ah, seriously she should tell me first. she's the only one who know that our relationship is not real.

"hyejin, did you know?"

"i don't, at all."

we both sighed and just clapped like everyone else. and also, we decided to drop the formalities and he'll call me without the word miss in front of my name.

but can't lie, things got awkward. he was my assistant, for a quite long time and suddenly we kissed and he showed me his different side, which he never showed before.

and now, he's going to be my husband. we're going to live together, see each other's morning face and yada yada yada.

none of this make sense, really.

"lee hyejin, stop spacing out." my granddad's voice startled me, out of my thoughts.

"aigoo chairman lee, wait for her to gain sense first. she must be shocked right now," grandma's words make everyone there laughed and caused yoongi and i to blush.

"so when is the date?" one of yoongi's family members asked.

i look at yoongi for help. besides, he's the one with plan and schedule. yoongi nodded and clear his throat.

"we discussed about this before, and hyejin want to get all the works settled first and then we will proceed with the marriage. which about, two months from now?"

he said, unexpectedly calm. i wonder if he read and memorize all that before he sleeps.

"the works are not the problem. hyejin's brother, haneul will take care of it." my granddad suddenly said. "and i suggest that we held the marriage two weeks from now."

what? then why did he ask us before? yoongi look at me and shrugged.

after the dinner, i went to the second floor of yoongi's house. the one with swimming pool outside.

i took something out from my clutch and realized that i didn't bring the lighter with me.

"crap,"

"here," suddenly yoongi come with the lighter and light the cigarette in my hand. then he lighted the one in the corner of his lips.

"how did you know?" i said, and awkwardly inhale the smoke. i didn't expect that finally i have something in common with him.

"cigarettes are the best remedy for stress," he chuckled. "just like you, i smoke once a while, sometimes."

"i hope alcohol isn't the best remedy for you too."

"of course not, i have to take care of you. i can't get drunk." he laughed and exhale the smoke. this is an ugly truth of the heiress of the big company but at least we find a place without innocent people to smoke.

i'm not proud of it, nor ashamed. what i know i just want to breath and forget about this for awhile. and i believe it's the same for him.

"so we're getting married in two weeks?" yoongi asked, after we get rid of the cigarettes and replace it with some fresh gums.

"yeah, i guess. i can't believe it."

"neither do i. but let's just enjoy it. we don't know how or when we will end this but let's just do it." yoongi says, looking at the night sky.

"yeah. besides, if i'm not marrying you in two weeks time, i might never know how it feels to get married with someone."

"same, wifey." he said, and caused me to look at him ; widening my eyes as it almost popped out of the sockets before we both burst out of laughter at how much cringy it sounds.

so i guess, this marriage isn't a waste of time. at least i will experience the life of someone's wife. which i never dreamed of.

though my mom is the only one who knows that our relationship isn't real, she is the most excited person on earth about my wedding dress.

"come on, pick one!" she said, shaking my hands. sometimes i wonder if she my mom or my sister or one of my hoes

or all of that.

"i'm not that artistic and stuff. but i think i like this one." i said, pointing out to a dress which is simple and not a broom type. which it swipes and mop everything in the path while i'm walking to the altar.

"euw what a taste. yoongi, how about you?"

"i—"

"uh mom seriously. it's you or me who is getting married here? give us some space." i scowled.

"i just don't want to you to embarrass yourself on your big day." she pinched my cheek. "but well, i believed yoongi more than i believe you so, yoongi~ choose carefully okay?"  she patted yoongi's shoulder for a few time before walking out of the boutique.

"i think you should let your mom choose, she's the fashion designer after all," yoongi said and i glare to him.

"but of course you can do whatever you want, it's your dress anyway." he said, comforting me again. "so which one?"

"i don't even know, they all look the same." i said as i look at the closet ; it's a closet full of my mom's best wedding dress collection. its either from her design or another designers. she said she want to save this closet for her children's wedding. i'm thankful for that, but still.. there's too much of them and i'm suddenly dizzy after choosing too much dresses.

"what about this?" yoongi said, taking out a dress.

"that's pretty, but

"that's pretty, but.." i paused, eyeing the dress. "i might ruin this,"

yoongi chuckled. "you might don't know this, but you look good in everything. and i think this will suit you the most,"

"you think so?"

"i know so,"
