Belle has stayed in bed basically since she got home she can walk but the pain still kills her even though the doctor has her on some pretty strong meds. Nate has now become a small part of JKS but he still has a while to go until we have him in the position we need him to be in to take them down. Belle has been home for a week now and it feels amazing to know she is mine again. We are laying in bed together and Belle turns to look at me.

"Can I ask you something?" she says

"Yeah."

"Who killed Tanner?"

"Belle, you don't need to know about any of that."

"Why?" she frowns "He tried to kill me I want to know who wiped him."

"Honestly there is some things your better off not knowing."

"Why?"

"Because Belle it's not important – what's important is that he will never hurt you again."

"It was you wasn't it?"
"Belle."

"Kyle, just tell me."

"Yeah okay it was me."

"Did you make him suffer?"

"Belle..."

"Tell me!"

"All I can say was that it wasn't simple." I reply "He got what he deserved."

"Good." She replies laying her head on my shoulder.

We lay there for ages and even though I don't regret getting that piece of shit back for what he did it still doesn't make me feel great – it's not something to be thrilled about. Belle is safe and that's all that matters and he will never be able to hurt her again but it's not going to solve anything with the JKS and that is the main issue.

I go out into the lounge room to see Jason he is laying on the couch watching TV.

"When will this all be over?" I ask him

"Hopefully soon dude." He replies "Once it's done I'm leaving with Belle and we are done."

"I think that's the only way you will ever work out together."

"Yeah and that's the plan – I need her away from this shit Jase."

"And you will be, just give us time."

"We just need to sort this out Kyle then you and Belle can have your lives back and everything will go the way it should."

"I can't watch her go through this again."

"She wont Kyle she will be fine – you both will be. Give me a couple of months and you will be home free."

"Okay." I reply

I turn around to walk into the bedroom to be with Belle.

"We will protect her."

"I'm sick of promising her that Kyle when we never manage to."

I walk back into the bedroom and Belle is asleep on the bed, I lay down next to her and her eyes slowly open.

"Are you okay?" she asks

"Yeah." I reply

"No your not, what's wrong?"

"I just want all this bullshit to be over and done with Belle I just want to give you the life you deserve – I just want you to get your happy ending."

"I will Kyle, one day but for now I'm sticking by you – I don't want to be without you."

"And I don't want to be without you either Belle. The minute all this bullshit is over I'm getting you out of here and we can do what ever you want - where ever you want."
