Chapter 13

Ethan's POV
"No, you listen to me! I'm sick and tired of pretending I like you! I don't, get over yourself! I'm done here. I'm packing my things and moving out. Goodbye Jessica." I snapped.
I woke up to my alarm. Shit, I thought that was real...I wish it was.
Today's my first day on set acting...I'm really nervous because I don't know if I'll be able to keep my cool around Grace. I won't know until I try.

Grace's POV
"Finally we're done that seemed like the longest I've ever held my pee for a scene" I said. A few people laughed as I ran to the bathroom.
I left the bathroom when I was done and almost immediately got pulled aside by a strong arm around the corner.
"What the hell?!" I yelled.
"Shh, sorry I didn't mean to scare you" he said.
"Grayson!! Oh my gosh what are you doing here?!" I asked embracing him in a tight hug.
"I came here to see you guys act. The kissing scene was my favorite part." He said with a wink.
"About that, um I didn't feel anything when I kissed Ethan. And that scares me; I don't want it to be over..." I said trailing off.
He looked at me with a sad look, "Grace, he's dating Jessica-"
"I know, I know" I said not wanting to hear it.
"You didn't let me finish," he started, "he's dating Jessica, but he only talks about you."
The butterflies in my stomach got bigger and bigger with every word he said.
"Gray, I don't have the same feelings for Ethan. I had my eye on someone else. Let it go okay?" I said before walking away.
I know it's somewhat of a lie, but I didn't wanna admit it. I need to know Ethan can be trusted.
"Ethan?" I said walking over to him.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"Would you like to go back to my apartment with me? I'm leaving now. I think we need to talk" I said.
He nodded and we headed out the door. On the way to my apartment Ethan kept looking over at me and smiling, his face kept getting as red as a tomato.
*in Grace's apartment*
"Look, I have a lot to say to you," I started. Ethan nodded and let me continue, "first of all, I missed you. My life has changed a lot since you left, some good ways some bad. I'm happy for you and Jessica, I hope you guys are happy together."
Ethan's POV
Hearing her say that broke my heart all over again.
"Grace, I'm sorry. I really am. I don't know what else to say other than I'm sorry. I made a dumb decision when I was drunk and I lost the best thing I ever had. I'm really sorry" I said without thinking.
She looked up at me, tears coming from her eyes, staining her cheeks. I wiped one away and looked in her eyes.
"Ethan I'm really sorry-" she got cut off by her phone.
Grace's POV
"Hey Grayson" I said. "Wait are you serious??"
What Grayson had to say shocked me more than anything. I didn't know whether to take this as good news or bad news. At least now I know the truth...
