Valentine Ball 1

~The Next Day~

Lotus P.O.V

Its a new day as me and Tyler did our morning routine ate breakfast and headed to school, it was around 7:30 so we weren't really late but not too early. A lot of students that walked by us were talking about a valentine ball. I just shook it off and went to my locker as Tyler went to his, when I walked to his locker a whole bunch of girls were surrounding him asking him out to the dance as he got a bit freaked out as I just smiled and laughed a bit until someone scared me a bit. "Hey!" that someone was Luke as I jumped a bit making me drop my books as Luke had a worried face and helped me get them "Sorry! I didn't mean to scare you" "I-its fine" he only nodded as we both grabbed the last book our hands touched as we quickly took our hands away having a faint pink on both our cheeks as I picked up the last book, we then stood up as I smiled at him a bit as he just smiled at me. "Anyways, you going to the valentine ball?" "I don't know really, I'm gonna have to ask my mom about that" "Right" "What's it about anyways?" "Its just for valentines, of course valentines the fourteenth so its gonna take some time for them to decorate the gym" I just nodded listening.

We talked more as he made jokes and really cheesy pick up lines as I fully smiled and laughed. That is until Tyler towered behind me giving Luke a glare as he chuckled nervously. "So who's that?" "Who's who?" I gave him a questioning look as he just pointed behind me as I turned around to meet my brother's chest as he hugged me protectively. "Tyler! He's a nice guy I promise!!" I looked at him as he looked at me until he sighed and let go of me "Fine, but if you hurt her than that pretty face of yours is gonna be gone" Tyler glared at Luke as he nodded his head quickly "Yes sir! Lotus come on lets go!!" he grabbed my hand as he speed walked away with me trying to go as the same pace as him. We soon came to a stop as we took a breather, I soon noticed we were still holding hands as a blush crept to my face as he looked at me questioningly until he looked at our hands as he blushed as well.

We let go of each other's hands as my hand soon felt cold in an instant. But then we spoke at the same time "So-Oh! Were you gonna-Sorry!" "Um" "Uh" we stayed quiet a bit  still blushing as the bell rang telling us that it was time for us to get to class. "I'll uh, see you later then" he smiled a bit as I did as well "Um yeah! I'll see you then!" we accidently bumped into each other as we laughed nervously and went our separate ways. "Great job Lotus, you just embarrassed yourself....". I headed to class and took out the stuff I needed and got right to work on what the teacher assigned us.

Luke's P.O.V

For some reason I couldn't get Lotus out of my mind, and its killing me! I accidently groaned out loud and ruffled my hair from frustration until the teacher called me. "Is there something you want to tell us Mr. Valkrum?" "N-no ma'am" I blushed in embarrassment as the students snickered as I sighed under my breathe. 'Good job Luke, good job', I kept doing my work as the bell rang I quickly grabbed my stuff and headed out. I started to daydream about Lotus as I bumped into someone, but sadly, it wasn't Lotus.

"Ugh! Watch it!" "S-sorry...." "You should be! I can't believe I touched someone so, so, pathetic!" I looked up as it was Kaylee, shoot, I'm dead now. I quickly got up as she was about to slap me her hand got caught by...Lotus!? She had a glare that could kill anyone as her eyes turned soft as she let go of her hand "I-I'm sorry! I didn't know what I was doing!!!" she panicked a bit as Kaylee just scoffed and walked off "Whatever' once she was done Lotus turned around with a worried face "Are you okay!" "Don't worry I'm fine" I chuckled a bit smiling as she had a faint blush on her cheeks, great now she looks cuter.....Wait what?  She blushed even more as I realized I said that out loud I mentally slapped myself "I d-didn't mean it that way!!!" "N-no I understand!!" "Y-yeah..." we both looked down as I rubbed the back of my neck a bit until she broke the silence "S-so I was wondering if you wanna hang out by a cafe nearby, my aunt works there" "Y-yeah, s-sure" "G-great! I'll um, see you there!" she quickly walked off as I didn't know what I was thinking and took her hand. "W-wait!" "Y-yes?" she turned around to face me as her face was a tomato as I couldn't help it but laugh. "Y-you look like a tomato!" "I-I do!!" she quickly let go of my hand as she covered her face with her hands I soon calmed down and patted her head "You're okay" "So what did you want to tell me?" "Oh right! Do you wanna, um, eat lunch with me?" "Sure!" "Great! I'll uh, save a spot for you" "Okay! Bye!" she then walked off as I sighed.
