(Saturday)
Sophia wakes up at 10:20 she goes downstairs to the smell of her favourite breakfast scrambled eggs, bacon, water melon and orange juice a normal breakfast. Sophia says "mmm mom thanks" as her mom passes her a plate with food on it. "hey Soph could we talk?" Sophia's mom says. Sophia says "yah sure what's up" "well soph you know why I bought you that diary?" "Uh no.." "um..well sweetheart I bought you it to write down what you're feeling or if you feel like you have no one to talk to because were gonna be uh.. Sophia were moving" her mom says. Sophia could feel her heart immediately drop it felt like her whole world had been crushed by just two simple words "we're moving". "Wait wait no what no were not moving" Sophia says.
(M) "Sophia we have no choice I'm going to be a nurse isn't that great?"
(S )"well yah I guess but we can't move my life is great and your not going to ruin it again"
(M)"Sophia (her mother says angrily) I told you I'm 7 years clean you have nothing to worry about this will be good for the both of us."
(S)"how? Huh... how the FUCK *sophia starts to yell* WILL IT BE GOOD FOR THE BOTH OF US ALL MY MEMORIES WERE IN THIS HOUSE"
(M)"SOPHIA watch your language. Sophia every where I look it reminds me of your father and we can't have that if he...."
(S )"dads gonna come back I know he will he loves us"
(M) *yelling* IF HE LOVED US HE WOULDN'T OF LEFTED US FOR SOME SLUT
(S) (eyes tear up) "FUCK YOU" Sophia runs upstairs and jumps on her bed and balls her eyes out it was now 11:30 and Sophia had fell asleep. It was 1:40 Sophia woke up to the touch of gentle shaking on her arm, she woke up and seen her mom and said "what do you want." Her mother sits on the edge of her bed.
(M) "Sophia were going to our new house on Monday"
(S)"do I even get to say goodbye to my friends"
(M) "no..."
(S) "UGH"
(M)"do you wanna know where we're moving?"
(S)"where"
M "Chicago"
(S )"I guess that's not so bad Chicagos a nice place"
(M )"well... uh yah it is but we're moving to the south side of Chicago."
(S)"WHAT THE FUCK THE GHETTO SIDE"
(M)"I'M SORRY THAT'S ALL I COULD AFFORD"
Sophia looks out her window
(M)"start packing your stuff"
Sophia's mom leaves the room.
