Sebastian's P.O.V:
The two pesky reapers step into the light allowing us to see their face. Neither Will nor Grell were shocked to see me and my master. We do tend to pop up wherever death lingers.
However, they were surprised to see Ema.
With me.
Smelling a bit.. Different.

Ema's P.O.V:
My brother and Will stand side by side in front of us. Will doesn't seem impressed at Sebastian or Ciel and Grell is worse. I expected him to gush and flatter Sebastian due to his overload of sexual appeal for him, but he Grell threw death glares at every angle possible.

"Grell.." I whisper out. Both sets of emerald eyes are glued to me.
It was silent to a brief minute.

"Ema... No. You didn't... Please tell me you didn't." Will was the first to say something to me.

"Ema! Why the bloody hell do you smell of those low life creatures?" Grell snarls at me clearly not understanding like Will did. He propped his pale hand on his red trench coat clearly not happy with me.
I just shake my head no as my eyes tear up.
Grell steps towards me searching my eyes seeing how visibly upset I was.
"Ema, I have been worried sick! It's time to go home." He eyed the two men behind me. His voice was stern but a little more loose than the first one.
Not to mention, he's acting  softer this time trying to get me to follow his plans.
Grell reached his hand out to grab my own but was stopped by Will.
"You know the rules Grell." Will sighs and fixes his glasses before turning to me.

"Your brother and I are here to collect the soul of this here human. I'm sorry Ema, but you are not allowed to return home with us. No demons are allowed inside the reaper society."

My heart breaks at Grell's expression. Disappointment. Sadness. Anger. Longing. Betrayal.
Between my shaker sobs I try to explain.
"Grell... Please.. I'm so sor-"
Slap!

The noise echoes down the hallway bouncing off each brick. Behind me Sebastian takes a step forward with his eyes glowing and fangs beared.
I reach back and grab his hand feeling him relax under my touch. I understand why my brother did it. I don't want Sebastian hurting him. He's the only one who's cared for me and loved me. I love Grell with every ounce of my being.

"Sebastian" Ciel called.
"Yes Young master?" He never took his eyes off of Grell. I squeeze his hand a bit and he finally breaks the eye feud to look down at me. I give a weak smile and he squeezes my hand back in reassurance. Even though he did this too me, I feel no resentment whatsoever.
"I think we've seen enough here tonight." Ciel puts his hat back on and proceeds back to the carriage. All around us snow starts to flutter down matching the bitter air. Sebastian's black hair catches the flurries making him look spotted. He presses my head into his shoulder a bit to protect my face from the frigid snow. Around us, Big Ben chimes signaling it's one in the morning. We weren't out here that long, but I feel like I've aged twenty years.

Silently my eyes leak my emotions out through salty tears. My cheeks flush from the cold and I wipe my nose with the back of my hand feeling, if possible, even more drained.  Behind me I could hear my brothers death scythe working away. The further we walked away the quieter it got. Then it stopped.
He was gone.
He went home without me. His little sister.
Would he forgive me? Was he just upset in the moment and he'll get over it? Did I push away my only family I had left?
As I cry a little harder Sebastian tightens his grip on my slightly giving me a comforting warmth.

Sebastian's P.O.V:
How dare that bloody reaper piece of rubbish hurt my Ema. His sister no matter! I could have destroyed this whole damn town I was so enraged. Her tender hand holding brought me back from my little inside meltdown. I truly wish my dear Ema would have let me snap that bothersome mans neck. It just doesn't make sense to me how someone like Ema could be related to someone like, God I shiver in disgust at his name.

Ciel's P.O.V:
The door opens and Sebastian helped Ema get into the carriage. His large gloved hand was supporting her pale, small, bare hand. Her eyes the whole time were cast to the ground and grief stricken. My butlers black coat was wrapped snugly around the small girl in front of me. Gently, she bent her legs and sat down on the red velvet seat. Not once did she blink.
I look up at him and he gives me a sad frown. He usually doesn't act with such emotion in situations like this. What was with him and this girl?
She sat silently across from me letting tears flow freely.  I usually can't stand people who show their weakness but for her, I can't help but feel sympathy. Maybe because I felt I had experienced pain from the same red head she did. I don't know what it is but none the less it's done and over with.

"We will begin our trip back to Phantomhive manor, my lord."
"Very well."
Sebastian closes the door tightly and snaps his whip signaling the horses to get a move on. The horses called out and charged making the cart lurch forward.

Outside the window, dark shadows and thin trees whip by giving the night an unsafe feel. The carriage catches every bump backing both Ema and I sway back and forth.  I'm relieved to hear small snores within the carriage. Ema is passed out on the seat with her arms under her head. As quietly as I can, I reach over and cover the parts of her that were exposed with Sebastian's tailcoat.
"Sweet dreams." I say.
A small smile displays itself on my lips as she stretches and snuggles into the coat.
