A Zayling?

Does she know how bad it is that I met her?

Considering what I am.

I can't do it.

I can't hurt her.

She just so...

"I'm sorry." Eve says fiddling with her fingers.

"For what?" I say smoothly.

She gives me a questioning look.

"I mean I just wanted to see if the curse was real, I didn't know this would happen." She says with tears brimming her unique eyes.

She's a Zayling and she has the curse?

Not a good mix.

Why would she go on that side of the ocean?!

"Wait you have the curse and you're a Zayling?" I say with wide eyes.

"W-what I I though the curse makes you a Zayling." Tears finally fall from her eyes.

She flinches as I lift my thumb up to wipe it away, than relaxes as I wipe away her tears.

She doesn't know.

She's trapped.

Most people don't even live this long.

Only if she's the one.

Eves POV (mwahahah)

What does he mean?

Flynn told me, the curse makes me a Zayling and I have to get some stupid heart of the ocean.

Was he lying?

I knew I shouldn't trust him.

He would hurt me.

Kill me.

Just like I said.

I flinch as Gabe reaches his hand to my face.

He gives a confused look than wipes away the tears I hadn't realized were there.

I relax at his comforting touch.

I look into his dark eyes.

A look of guilt flashes through them quickly.

"Um, I-is it okay, if I get some air?" I ask, looking away from his eyes.

He shrugs.

"Sure" he smiles and moves away his hand.

As I jump off the counter I gasp slightly, trying to ignore the pain in my legs.

I walk over to the door. Opening it up slowly and walking out.

I look around at the fallen trees and new green plants growing here and there.

I bet this place used to be really beautiful.

I sigh as I walk to the edge of the water.

Fighting the urge to jump in and swim away from this unknown broken down destination.

But I know how that went last time.

I sigh and lay on my back.

I watch the sunset for a while before closing my eyes.

SPLASH

My eyes fly open.

SPLASH

"Eve! What are you doing? Do you know where you are?" I hear a familiar voice whisper- yell.

"Flynn? I'm fine, why are you here?" I ask looking around, making sure Gabe isn't around.

"The question is, why did you leave?" He says floating in the water.

" I- um - I was scared."
